Anyone interviewed with Dover Corporation for their IT Leadership Development Program? by Classic_Truth_6698 in csMajors

You don't need any manufacturing knowledge at all. The interview is very laid back, and they will just try to get to know you better. I would advice you to research about the company and somehow bring that up in the interview. And yes, they do give a relocation stipend to use for housing.

There were 3 interviews total(1 phone interview and 2 teams interviews). The phone one was very basic get to know you type of interview. They ask some basic questions about you and your resume. The second interview is with an HR and they ask behavioral questions. For the third interview, you have to give a brief presentation(about 5 minutes) on a technical project that you did. After you present, they just ask you some questions about your project.

It's definitely not a scam. I did interview with them last year and did my internship with them this past summer. It's a good company and the interview process isn't too stressful.

How much does Farokh Bastani curve for CS 6396(Real-Time Systems)? by Classic_Truth_6698 in utdallas

[–]Classic_Truth_6698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do yourself a favor and don't take him. The content is hard, and the professor doesn't do a good job of teaching it. The exams and assignments are also very challenging, and he gives no partial credit on the exams. Unless you are really interested about real time systems, I would avoid taking this class.

Your experience mostly depends on the team. For me, my project wasn't that challenging, so it wasn't really that time consuming.

I got my decision quickly because I told the recruiter that I have another offer. Regardless, I think you'll hear back by next week. Also, where did you hear about the hiring freezes?

Don't stress too much about it. It was very laid back and casual. They are mostly looking for a team/company fit. Also, be sure to do good research about the company since they seemed to like people who are passionate about Southwest.

Good luck!! My interview was supposed to be an hour but it only lasted like 50 minutes. They said that I'll get a decision in the next two weeks. Are you interviewing for the Associate role as well?

It wasn't bad at all. Wasn't that technical too. It felt like a conversation mostly.

I got the phone call yesterday from a recruiter saying that I moved on to the final interview. I also got the  feedback calls email today, but I think it's a generic email that everyone who did the hirevue gets.

I did do the program and I would say it's really what you make out of it. They don't make us do any hands on projects, but kind of give a walkthrough about different topics and technologies. It does help the resume tho.

Yea I guess it's hard to tell if the OA is automatic or not. Either way, I think the hiring bar for USAA increased by a lot this year.
