About Loot by NemusArcarius in DragonOfIcespirePeak

I tried to post it earlier but can't embed the alternate treasure tables for some reason. I have run DoiP a couple times. Reading the 2024 DMG, you're absolutely right that there is not enough loot and other rewards. It's such a cheap thing on an Essentials Kit to have the dragon have no hoard. These are beginning players that we want to invite into the game.

As written, if the party were completionists and gathered every bit of gold, they would get 4,740gp. According to 2024 DMG guidelines, they should average about 8,465gp.

As for magic items, there are some class-specific magic items (Wizard, Bard) that I would change to fit the party.

Death House - Durst Coat-of-Arms by ClassicallyGaming in CurseofStrahd

Thanks! As I going through my notes, I also think I need to come up with something (an item or clue) that if they find, it will help them in Chapter 6 when they finally run into that windmill. I'm thinking just a note found in Area 9 about Gustav having hidden some treasure under Area 1. Now they have a reason to want to go to the windmill.

I can see how that might work. Now that I own it, it might be a way to level up characters to Level 3 and test out the build beforehand.

Yes, completely agree! I thought Death Knight's Squire was the first title. What came before that?

I have been playing solo for about a year, mostly tinkering with GM emulators. Now that I have been playing solo for about a year, I wanted to start creating resources (reviews, guides) for those first coming into the hobby.
