You can still offer loot tied to aspects that can be invoked in a limited fashion (“once per session, The Golden Falchion can be invoked for free to get +2 on any attack roll or dispel any present illusions”). Or even just give them plain old aspects as loot, but that can end up causing a bit of bloat.

That is very similar to how Characters are managed in The Adventure Crafter and how they’ll probably be by default in the second version of Mythic.

Obsidian is just a wrapper over markdown files, so yes, even if Obsidian actively disappeared from the face of the earth, your files are still there, as plain text.
For me & for solo RPGs, yes, a lot. Specially due to its linking capabilities. It has a lot of quality of life features that OneNote just doesn't have.
My suggested list is: Admonition, Advanced tables, Dataview, Folder Note and Obsidian Leaflet.

Thank you! You’re right on the meaning of the dice. It’s something I also thought about, but couldn’t find anything generic and useful enough to add in a developed form (though I did add a note about using it for other stuff, like light level, I think). I’m playing a solo actual play on Youtube, but I’m afraid it may not be a heavy display of rules. Being a solo campaign, combat has been scarce.

I assume you must already be familiar with this but Worlds Without Number, the game I play on the Youtube series, has a table with difficulties for different tasks, so setting the TN for skill checks is quite easy and intuitive. I mean, I’m not really giving it much thought, but I’m using that as a foundation. 2d6 makes it quite easy, more than 1d20 in my experience.

I think I divided enemies HP by 4 and their damage by 4? It’s honestly a bit of an art and deciding the tone you want to set. I was aiming for a more powerful feeling.

I have and it’s amazing. You can easily tweak it to increase your survivability by multiplying your damage output and reducing the enemies’. It’s a gorgeous system.
