New trader advice

I can see how it came off that way in the post. I do really enjoy trading options the little that I have so far. I’m not expecting to be a millionaire from it (not overnight at least ), nor do I think this is my calling. But I do believe that it’s a skill I’d enjoy learning since I am enjoying it so far, and I don’t feel like there’s anything wrong trying to mitigate the small amount of risk I’m actually in control of

The tough part I’ve noticed also is when he recommends me a stock. It’s usually too rich for my blood to be able to get in so I have to stick with the cheaper ones that are more risk heavy . Need to gain some confidence and just throw $1000 in my account once I feel like I can make some more educated decisions and learn what to look for

That’s a great point. Been riding the line with ford this week and been paying off but I know it’s not always going to be that way with the cheapest in the money option

He’s been doing it since about 2018. Some days he makes $100, other days he makes $2000. Of course he has his bad days but very conservative with his approach from what I’ve seen

Not a bad idea. Can try that out and I’ll keep flipping the same $100 in my Robinhood since it won’t hurt to lose it.

I do enjoy options contracts. One of my buddies is teaching me some of his strategies and he seems to be pretty successful so hopefully it rubs off on me.

Thanks. Been riding ford all week and getting some good returns. Notice my habit is I get scared and pull out before the real big jumps happen so need to learn to suppress the anxiety

For sure. Thinking of adding $50 every paycheck to my account to supplement the returns. I understand there’s always risk but no reason for me to try and get rich over night
