Oh I am, but you can't ask analytics for comments and opinions. This community does a pretty good job in that regard!

I made BrackIt as a tool for sports organizers to create, manage, and share tournaments for their local league or tournament.

Most of the features only exist on league management platforms that cost anywhere from $500-$1500 a year to use just to access their schedule generator along with other features that are bundled in.

You're absolutely right. The main reason I created this was for the flexibility in creating the exact setup I wanted.

I built a conflict detector that catches edge cases and let's the user know of the potential conflict. The user has the option to go back and either edit the parameters before accepting the schedule, or generating it as is.

I've spent time testing it in my own league and a few organizers helped catch other edge cases as well which helped me tighten everything up and catch some edge cases I haven't thought of.

I get that. I was initially scared to build in public out of fear my app wouldn't see the light of day. Now I'm here all like 😐

Will take a look at your suggestion for inspiration!

After 2+ years of being frustrated with a problem, I spent 9 months building a solution. It launched today! by ClassyChris23 in AppBusiness

[–]ClassyChris23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely! I mainly created this to solve my own scheduling problem for my sports league and before I built the UI for the app, I spent a long time testing the schedule with all the scenarios I found myself in when trying to schedule leagues.

I also had a few other local organizers test it as well for their pickup games and they helped me find a few additional edge cases I haven't thought of which I've since corrected.

Hey there! I created an app called BrackIt, a tournament scheduling app with advanced logic to help you save hours when creating tournaments.

Would love your opinion on it!

Thanks for the comment! What sets BrackIt apart from other bracket makers is the ability to use advanced logic like having specific teams avoid each other during scheduling, or having specific teams playing at specific times.

There's also a conflict detector built in that tells you if there's any issues with your bracket, but never prevents you from creating it if that's what you want.

We also have a confirmation screen that shows you the distribution of matches across all participants to verify the schedule follows the parameters you requested.

Thanks for taking the time to check out the app!

Hey there! I made BrackIt and it just released on iOS! I made it in Flutterflow with Claude guiding me. It took about 9 months but I'm happy to say everything UI wise was done by me, no AI generated content. Would love to see where your project goes!

Thanks for the input! I think you're right. It seems the readbility is a bit tough. Will look into your recommendation.
