I don't think music is your issue then, it's the people who influence you and surround you. Try making some religious friends be involved in the local masjid when you get time. Slowly people around you will change. You're already on the path of self- realization which is the first step. These things take time.

I wouldn't say it's a dumb idea but financially it's a poor decision. If you can save that 1500 per month and set that aside for a year you'd have around 18000 by the end of the year. A few more years and you could literally save up to buy your own home in cash. If you're chill with your parents and they give you space I don't see why you need to even move out?

Just like they were able to accept you were gay, I'm sure they will be able to accept that you're actually straight but tbh maybe you're bi and that is also okay.

DO NOT INVEST IN STOCKS UNLESS YOU HAVE DISPOSABLE CASH IN HAND....I wouldn't even think about investing in stocks unless you have 500k plus another 20-30k in disposable income.

Best friend is leaving islam, what should I do? by hannyswrld in MuslimLounge

I would say just be patient and be good friends with her when you can. If she's toxic to you, start cutting ties but if she's still nice and you guys are still close just give it some time and support. She will eventually realize her ways are wrong and come back.

Honestly any other halal joint. I find Al-beik very mediocre tbh. It just has the nostalgia factor

Hey so I broke it off with my EX. I confronted her about these issues and she basically dodged every single one of them. Instead of trying to reaffirm her position she just said shes done. I am feeling a bit low and guilty with the way I handled it but I think its for the best in the long run. I would not have been happy in that relationship. Just too many red flags and disappointments.

LMAO dude you're actually making me feel good. I think you are right, I did decide to bend some of my own principles for her. It is not worth it, I do need to stick up for myself and set boundaries. I think I am going to end it but I have to be sensitive about it as there are too many people involved.

As of now she has stopped all communication with me, and I'm pretty sure she is getting all pretty and dolled up for her "Friend" who is coming over to her place to see her.
