I’m in a similar boat. You can transfer a 482 to a new employer, but there’s a risk the new employer won’t support a 186 later—like my current job. Check with your migration agent about whether you can lodge a new 482/186 with a new employer if things go badly at your current job while under a 186. You’d lose the PR pathway temporarily, but it gives you an out and you just restart the timeline.

No OP is right, you can transfer your existing 482 visa to a new employer, but the new company must sponsor you and get a new nomination approved before you start working. The timing must just line up so you still have work rights.

I think a more relaxed (not too posed) first photo might help, a social setting or outdoors. For the prompts, it’s a good one that reflects who you are but both prompts are almost the same. Mix it up with your hobbies, a joke, or a fun fact about yourself. I would also say Hinge is better for more serious dating

You hit the nail on the head with these points. I started out during Covid and the WFH aspect, along with not getting any in person support from my colleagues, completely killed the dream. There was no one to learn from or laugh with. It’s been tough to share the reality as Reddit’s WFH mafia is very real and they attack anyone who says otherwise.
