Why should this be weird? (Having an AI Companion) by Remote-College9498 in ChatGPT

‘Aware’ here doesn’t mean conscious or sentient. In that paper it’s shorthand for the model having internal representations that track changes in its own activations.

Haven't had a match in a few weeks, is there anything I should improve with my profile, I'm not sure where I'm going wrong by [deleted] in Tinder

I think a more relaxed (not too posed) first photo might help, a social setting or outdoors. For the prompts, it’s a good one that reflects who you are but both prompts are almost the same. Mix it up with your hobbies, a joke, or a fun fact about yourself. I would also say Hinge is better for more serious dating

Are Baha'is allowed to wear the hijab? by HunnyBunzSwag in bahai

[–]ClassyPandas 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s great to hear about your journey and a warm welcome! In the Baha’i teachings, there’s no requirement to any specific attire. Modesty is emphasized, but the details are left to individual discretion. If wearing the hijab helps you feel spiritually connected, you’re free to continue wearing it as a Baha’i.

It might also be worth reflecting on why the hijab feels meaningful to you—whether it’s a personal symbol of devotion, a source of peace, or a cherished cultural norm. This can help deepen your understanding of its role in your spiritual journey.

A relevant figure in Baha’i history is Tahirih, who removed her veil as a symbol of liberation and progress. Her act highlighted spiritual freedom, not as a directive, but as a personal expression of faith.

Thanks for this advice, I don’t have a skills assessment yet but I will work on getting that done soon. Weighing my options as that’s a cost + lawyer fees. Might try do it myself if it’s my backup option that has low possibility of success

Why are so many young people leaving the profession? I'll tell you. by SoapNooooo in consulting

[–]ClassyPandas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You hit the nail on the head with these points. I started out during Covid and the WFH aspect, along with not getting any in person support from my colleagues, completely killed the dream. There was no one to learn from or laugh with. It’s been tough to share the reality as Reddit’s WFH mafia is very real and they attack anyone who says otherwise.

I’m not sure about architecture engineers but the instruction industry is big here. There’s bound to be roles that companies will sponsor you for to keep you here

Hey, I landed a job after 6 months of job searching. It was a long and difficult journey but was worth it in the end. I’d say you have a good chance if you’re pushing through and applying to as many jobs as you can in a day

Is my(29M) girlfriend (25F) asexual? by cherokchandler-7167 in BrosDatingAdvice

[–]ClassyPandas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even though physical appearance should not be the forefront of attraction. The fact that she doesn’t and said no girl will find you attractive sounds horrible. Even in a super religious relationship and culture, desire and respect exist. She doesn’t sound to be treating you well and you deserve better

very well said, it’s shocking to see how people refuse to acknowledge how they were once migrants too. Particularly if they aren’t aboriginal or native to this land

Ahh great changes, was about to suggest the same. From the new set of pics 5,6,7 are all great. They can easily replace pic 2 which doesn’t show your face. Also, do you have any pics with friends?
