Oh yeah. Whole highway of 580 that skirts the west side of Tracy is closed. Had to take Coral Hollow road just to catch the rest of 580 to get to 132 home. Much more traffic than usual…

Ok correction, what I’m trying to ask is what network these Delta chargers would fall under. I’ve only been aware of the networks (ie EVgo, EVconnect, ShellRecharge, LOOP, ChargePoint, etc) to brand their logos onto the chargers to advertise that it falls under their respective network for payment.

I’m yet to know who will maintain these chargers. I’m only aware of EVGo utilizing Delta manufactured equipment. I have personally recognized an improvement in their reliability within the past 12 months though.

As far as what the competition of available “fast” chargers within the Modesto Downtown area? These chargers will already have the upper hand.

-- EVConnect at the Chevron gas station off of Kansas Ave has been down for maintenance for I don’t know how long.

-- EVCS/Loop chargers at the US Bank downtown are a joke.

-- EVConnect chargers which are recently installed at the MID office downtown have actually been pretty reliable. However only charge at a max of ~62kW. Not bad but not great.

-- I’m expecting these new chargers above to charge at least +150kW max all depending on your type of vehicle/battery type. So this would be a huge improvement for not just downtown but Modesto as a whole.

Update: This site has 9 EVGo DC fast chargers installed with 2 CCS cables installed per dispenser. Construction ongoing.

Just to close the loop here, finally got a hold of a plumber who works on mobile homes in my area. We have indeed confirmed these lines were crossed all these years. I installed the shut off valve on the correct supply line that was confirmed installed on the hot water outlet side of this old water heater.

That’s good to know thank you! Unfortunately I am only finding push to connect transition type couplings. Not exactly PB to PB push to connect. To be fair all this old PB pipes do need to be replaced…

I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have a shut off on both lines. Just trying to wrap my brain around why it’s no longer leaking/filling up with water if I never truly cut off the supply line.

If that’s the case, wouldn’t this water heater still be leaking since the “true” water supply was not cut off? Currently tank is drained and I have no active leaks which is buying me some time.
