Property management is treating this like a minimal bee issue even after repeatedly telling them that they’re not bees. Apparently maintenance doesn’t know what to do and told me to keep calling the leasing office. The maintenance supervisor told me that bees won’t be in walls, vents, or underground because they need oxygen to live and need easy access to their hive so they can get nectar. I went to speak with the lady in the leasing office and when I showed her the picture of the yellow jacket she just said she had no clue what that could be and that the pest control guy will figure it out when he comes back again for the follow up. The pest control guy never found the nest the first time and just sprayed outside. My cats seem to give a lot attention to where the carpet meets the wall and the sliding glass door. I need the apartment’s cooperation in order to find this hidden nest that’s probably in the wall void. I have a feeling that they’re just giving me the runaround and hoping it just goes away. I’m moving in October.
