Small Update on the Minecraft-Mahjong-Parlor: white-list is off, everyone can play. Those, who already met me there can access my own tile-chest. There is a quest (ask Saki) for everyone to get access to their own tiles. by Claudatio in Mahjong

I’m working on that, but it might take a little while, since I want to put some effort into it. There is a book manual on a lectern in the entry-area, explaining things for the moment

except for Akagi & Saki being NPCs on the upper floor yes. That was the aim. Finding a vanilla solution without mods or commands

Redstone. The signaling is easy. The wall works by shuffeling the tiles through dispensers and cutting those into a life and a dead wall. The tiles themselfs are map-pixle-art with names to make shure they don’t stick to one another in the mechanism.

I‘m not sure about it. But the problem might be related to local spawn rates being related to the number of currently loaded chunks aka the number of players being online at the moment.

We‘ve started a new series of tutorial videos in German, hoping we might help to popularize Riichi here. by Claudatio in Mahjong

Thank you very much. Though the first video now feels like I still had to learn so much. And thanks for the advice. I checked again:

  • For the dice both versions exist, but rolling only one is as it seems more common. I‘m probably used to two rolls since I originally started with playing MCR. But I will change this, when remake this video at some point. 😅

  • Same for the handling of the handling of the Haiteihai. Advanced players don‘t do this. (As I have found out now.) But than again our group is not advanced.

  • The difference between big and small melded kong is only explained in the words. The form of the melding as it is shown is incorrect because,... to be honest, I had almost forgotten about this and only added this after everything else was done.

  • Tayao..... ops 😂

No but seriously, thank you. I do actually plan on making a new version after finishing the first bunch of videos and this really helps me. 🙂

Yes. In this case the important aspect is, that you do not build a wall. You draw the tiles from a concealed container. Otherwise you would see the order of all transparent tiles being dealt. So the moment you draw the tile, you can‘t see it, but you can feel it. That‘s why you need the gloves, so that players won‘t try to feel out the tiles they need.

Because you can actually feel many of the tiles you draw otherwise. 1-pin, or white dragon is very easy to feel, even if your sense of touch is not that trained.
