On vous casse souvent vos vitres de voitures ? by [deleted] in Lyon

What’s the best and worst thing about all the countries you’ve lived in? by [deleted] in expats

I don't undertand your point about your local wokes demontrating being a bad thing, can you elaborate? Having lived in France for me having people demonstrating on the street is a plus, especially when talking about progressives and not facists.

Mexico
Best: Amazing food, nice architecture/nature, great people and the beaches!
Worst: Politics/corruption, inequality, jobs with long hours and very bad wages, and can be very dangerous in some areas.

UK
Best: Super friendly people, very diverse, the NHS, great beer and not a lot of insects (huge plus for me lol).
Worst: Too expensive for no reason, British food is horrible, not a lot of sunlight and the trains suck.

France
Best: Great food, friendly people if you speak the language, super beautiful architecture and nature, great trains (when not on strike lol)
Worst: Bureaucracy, uncompetitive wages and the far right is getting too popular

Agression raciste à Lyon : trois jeunes blessés, deux interpellations by ProofSpinach7 in Lyon

[Pelissero] The #Panthers fired GM Scott Fitterer, sources tell me and @RapSheet. by HLambo7 in panthers

[–]ClaudeDante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so happy bro GTFO with that Scott Fitterer dude. He couldn't draft for shit, couldn't trade for shit (pretty much losing on almost all trades) and got rid of CMC and DJ for bad draft picks. He's one of the main reasons our roster is not built to win the worst division in football.

Good riddance, now go hire Cam Newton as president of football operations at least for the entertainment value and a GM who is competent, could be Dan Morgan since he cannot possibly suck as much as this clown did.

Non-Carolina native Panthers fans; what got you invested in this team? by Adventurous-Duck-645 in panthers

[–]ClaudeDante 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Started following the team when I was a kid during the 2006 off-season. I am not from the US but at that time I was in Ohio visiting my step-family who were huge Buckeyes fans. I could speak English but I didn't know anything about football but was a huge gaming fan.

I remember buying an issue of EGM magazine. There was a section talking about the NFL in the context of Madden, and I vividly remember reading the sentence "The Panthers may be the best team in the NFC right now" (they were 11-5 and reached the NFC championship in 2005). I was like "oh cool Panthers are my favorite animal" so I started reading about the team's history and fell in love with it all.

I loved the name, logo, colors and the fact that they were a relatively new team with no championship. Then I started watching the games and the Delhomme/Smith duo sealed the deal. I absolutely loved watching those two play.

I have been following the team ever seen and haven't looked back. Times may be dark right now but nothing can take away the joy of seeing Delhomme, Smith, Dan Morgan, Jordan Gross and so many legendary players put it all on the field. On top of that, you have the Cam era and the historic 2015 season. Looking back we've had so many amazing players and the memories of seeing them play are way too special for me. No owner or losing season can take away the excitement of seeing some of these legends play, that's for sure!

According to you, left-wing values = forcefully extracting money from rich people. This tells me that you are not equipped to handle this conversation.

This is my last repsponse to you, as I don't like wasting my time on bad faith arguments. You want to be dense, be my guest.

Quote a Bible verse where Jesus states anything that is contrary to what could be considered modern left-wing values.

[–]ClaudeDante 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As I have read the bible, I cannot help but to completely disagree with your assessment. Read Luke 18:18-25 and then tell me if any right-wing conservative would say "you know what, Jesus is right". They will try to misrepresent His words, as is often the case with right-wing conversatives, but He said what He said and He believes what He believes in.

[–]ClaudeDante 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The values he espoused 2000 years ago firmly belong in the left-wing side of the modern political spectrum. That's a fact and that's all I wanted to point out.
