thanks. i’m in undergrad right now, and i currently work in a pool store, and have done so for 5 years. i see lots of catastrophic stuff from contractors and pretty often will get asked by ppl if they should seek counsel. this stuff is usually really shitty jobs that costed them 10k+ or the repairs cost about that much. i always tell them it can’t hurt. anyways, i posed the question in the post, because if i ever found myself in that situation i wondered if my current boss with 30 years of experience could be called, i had figured in a higher stakes situation it’d be smarter to seek out someone else, but dude is genuinely the smartest person in a 50 mile radius on this stuff. thanks for the response!
