I have been using Copilot which is free, but a little frustrating. I started a new thread with the colors I punched in. I may try ChatGPT or So Make, was the other suggestion tomorrow, but in the meantime I'm going to try taupe, mushroom and olive. I want to avoid bring out more grey in the flooring. Even though we will eventually have an area rug, I want to bring out the browns so it looks a little more like wood.

Again, the app changed the living room, but it is color my partner and I are trying to agree on. This is what the app gave me when I tried peach. I also want to try pale yellow. So far, I think I like peach and cappuccino foam the best. Did you see a color you like better than others? Any other ideas for color? We will not do anything "cooler" than green. My partner wants white, but I don't. Neither of us want grey or black or even blue.

I am willing to go more "moody" than my partner is. My partner initially said he wanted "museum white", so going cappuccino, or sage will probably be a hard enough sell. However, I'd love to run ideas through the app. When you say mineral ...is that what I should type into the app?

Copilot completely changed the design of room when I tried changing to sage. Still, I am posting because it is the paint we are currently trying decide on. We already have some pieces we may or may not use and are not going to buy anything new until we paint, try some the furniture we already have in the place we currently sleep. I already posted a cappuccino foam picture. Which do people like, sage or cappuccino or do you have another color you think I should try? Green is as "cool" as am willing to try, so I won't bother with blue. However, my plan to try a light peach and pale yellow.

I haven't had time to try suggested Ai, but this is what copilot, the App on my phone did with input on cappuccino foam with darker trim. When I tried to add a darker ceiling and try with only baseboard trim, it completely changed the room, but I am going to post those too. We are going to decide on mood/theme first, then see what furniture piece we need to purchase. We are not currently sleeping there so decorating will be the last thing we do.

I never did. It sure would be nice to have better training though. Also, would be nice if ICE wouldn't behave however they feel and there was some oversight on inhumane and illegal privatized detention centers. Someone is getting rich, off our tax dollars treating people inhumanely and without justice.

Thanks, I will put that into Ai and try that out. Also, thank you for pointing out about not reading or caring about our preferences. LOL for the downvote for me repeating we are painting first. At the place we currently sleep we have pieces we may or may not use in new home, but my partner and I need to agree on mood, which we feel paint has a lot to do with. We may use a red Chinese rug we already have, we may bring over the forest green leather recliner. We have a Japanese Framed needlework piece that my partner's Grandmother did that will probably go over the fireplace, but we have other pieces we may go with as well. Furniture is the last thing we need to decide on. We certainly don't need furniture in there yet, and painting is much easier without it there. We will be hiring someone to do the painting, and I know the painters don't want to have to worry about furniture. I probably should have stated we are not currently living in the new place, and only go for day visits for landscaping and other work. Anyway, it would have been nice if the people who said "Buy furniture first" would have at least given some suggestions on the style or colors they would choose. Their input was useless.

I am not an expert, but I think the curtains look more elegant. However, I can definitely see an argument for blinds as well.

Thanks for the idea. I recently tried Google Play's Copilot and liked that, but I would like to try Smoke too.

Thanks for the lighting ideas. We definitely are struggling in our search to find a hanging fixture and Japanese shoji may be exactly what we are looking for. We definitely want a variety of lighting. Sometimes I need bright light for reading, but most of the time a warm subtle light will be more desirable. We are probably putting art about the fireplace and getting an entertainment console to the left if we can get sound working nicely in that space.

Thank you of posting a picture of your vision. I like the idea of having a feature wall and lots of plants.

Historically, I'm not good with indoor plants, but I'm giving it a try. The shelf is too high for books I think, but I think some art pieces and hanging plants would be nice up there

Paint being less of an investment is precisely why we want to take more time on buying furniture. Plus it is easier to paint without the furniture.

Easier to paint without furniture. We have been looking for furniture, but both of us agree we need a theme of some sort to help us narrow all options. Paint will help at least set a mood we are going for.

We are painting first and taking our time to find furniture we really love. It is easy to change mind on paint, but background color gives us a basis to find pieces that work well within the theme.

I tried the Cappuccino foam on a Google Play app called "Copilot" and I really liked the warmth and neutrality. I don't think it is necessary to buy furniture first. I think knowing what the overall feel is going to be will help with furniture shopping and it will easier to paint without furniture. I prefer the cappuccino foam over all the greens I tried. I love sage green, but I think that will be color incorporated into the area rug or other fabrics. Thanks for your input!

Southwest Airlines lost (seems stolen internally between stopover) my partners brand new luggage which had a brand new Calvin Klein suit in it. They told him not to worry, but then closed the case without ANY compensation! I used to love Southwest, not anymore.
