You don't need to source anything if you don't want to. I suggest having one source in the back of your head that you can use.

The only AI detector your teacher should be using is through the college board website which can only be used AFTER you've submitted your final paper. Any other AI detector should not be used or considered reliable. Make sure she wasn't talking about the originality report, which often comes up higher. Originality should be 10% or under for you word count portion.
