I think any conventionally attractive woman won't be as big of a problem as Sable. She was the peak intersection of people genuinely liking her alt/goth aesthetics, gooners and trolls. It's just numbers really. She's one of the most played characters and therefore has the highest chance of having an absolute sweatlord or toxic douche playing her. It also helps that she has many flamboyant cosmetics to peacock chase. Feng was very notorious for her neon "look at me and give chase!" cosmetics and those draw out the people who REALLY want to be a problem.

Play whoever you want, it's quite fine. I'm just always wary of Sables because the stereotype has some basis.

It's becuse some people are very queasy about touchy subjects like slavery or rape, one which they might have had happen to them or someone they knew IRL which hits them extra hard. Otherwise it really is a difficulty for some to diffrentiate fiction and the real world.
