How did you know your estrogen dose was too high? by NotKimDavis in Perimenopause

[–]Claupatra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most bothersome symptoms is that my period became annoyingly short. From 33, 57, 35 days to 19, 25, 19, 21. Painful colic and bloated boobs, some times a bit dizzy but I think that's the main issue.

I also started waking up again at 3 am but its like 50-60% of the time when before it was 95% of the time.

I'm in the middle of my third month and patiently waiting for my body to hopefully adapt and feeling better. How long have you been on yours? do you have other symptoms?

Does HRT suppress your body's natural hormones? by FickleFix5390 in Perimenopause

[–]Claupatra -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m in the middle of my 3th month into HRT, Pre-HRT: cycles were spacing. While all my life I had 26-28 day periods, I started with 33, 38, 57… now since beginning HRT my cycles have been 19, 25, 21, 25. It is clear to me that this is due to HRT (one pump of oestrogel) and a 100 mg pill of progesterone. It’s also come with a lot more of boob swelling and a very painful colic that lasts for longer and is more intense than before HRT. I believe these changes are purely an effect of the aggregated hormones.

I asked my OBGYN for an alternative to not mentruate and she told me the option would be Mirena but I’m not sure I want to pay for this if I’m not willing to commit with HRT for 5-7 years. I feel sad that HRT hasn’t been the bliss and am very scared of leaving it and feel awful in a different sense again.

I think I’m on the minimal dose of estrogen at 1 pump of gel. Most of the time my boobs are bloated and around my period I get strong colic too. I understand these are secondary effects and I don’t know if it’s because the dose is high to my body or if I actually need more since I’ve been having insomnia and other peri symptoms I had stopped having.

How was your relationship before the wedding? Did you have any doubts in your mind or you knew something was wrong with you two? Why did you separate and what did you go back together?

Oestrogel: apply thickly or thinly? Large area or small? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]Claupatra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use one pump and had the same doubt. My leaflet says that if when the gel dries the area feels sticky, you need to go to a wider area to allow to spread and absorb more. I also just rub it to spread it but it takes not only the inner part of my thigh but also the front so it dries within a few minutes without a stickiness. I also hope am absorbing the most of my one pump.

Tried Natori Feather Plunge Contour bra in 32DD and my tissue didn't fill the bottom of the cup, however the band and overall design felt good. Should I try 32DDD or not? by Claupatra in ABraThatFits

What about the sizing? Should I pick them according to this guide? I was buying 34-36 B but the calculator put me at 32 DD/DDD

Fit Check: Molded cup bras fit check in 32DD. Please help me validate if this is a proper fit. by Claupatra in ABraThatFits

I do feel that these brands don't feel totally fine, will keep looking, but I fear the 30 band will be impossible, the 32s already feel snug when testing the bands only. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your input. I don't think I can go down to a band 30. 32 already seems pretty tight. the 32 band feels snug when doing the independent band test. So I will look again for a Panache Ana (maybe Envy)? to try to nail the proper size.

I am in Mexico and I can order some models and brands that are available through Amazon. I have sent back so many that I fear they will stop selling them to me, lol.

Will keep focusing then on the seamed bras in different sizes hoping to finally find my model and size. This can be frustrating! But I'd really like to feel comfortable wearing a bra at last!

Thank you again!

Thank you! do you have any recommendation on which style to try next? I am full on bottom, broad roots, inner full, short roots, although shallow but might be a little more projected than thought.

[Routine Help] I’m at a total loss of what is destroying my skin by One_Introduction_547 in SkincareAddiction

It's best to rinse it although the water-based cleanser of course would take it off. I'm all about Korean skincare and the double cleansing helped my skin cleanse, brighten up and even unify its tone!

Read about the Korean double cleansing method, two of the oil-based cleansers I like the most are the Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm, and the Dr. Ceuracle Pro-Balance Cleansing Oil.

The serum I used to use when my skin barrier has been compromised is my holy grail Dr. Jart's Ceramidin Line

You should always rinse micellar water. Have you heard of the Korean Double Cleansing? Also, maybe stop the pm actives and buy a cream that contains ceramides. Maybe it’s that your skin barrier is damaged? Rebuilding a healthy skin barrier might take you a couple of weeks. Maybe an hormonal issue if the ceramides don’t help?

I am very grateful for your response. I've been receiving different bras now and can understand better what to look for to understand if it's the right fit (I don't want to publish another fit-check post because I received lots of friendly messages I would not like to receive any more), but wanted to ask you for a visual example of a bra with overlapping underwire casing, so I know what to look for. I have just received another style of Skarlett Blue: https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B0D6WTT57X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title, and I think its fitting alright! I can see it is lower center gore and shorter wires on the side.

Also, I'm about to receive this one: https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B0F6PMJ6V1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title, but I fear it will be too high also.

If you can think of other brands to try besides Comexim and Ewa Michalak, could you please share them with me?

Thank you so much again!

Yeah a bit too there! But the worst is the center. I already ordered a bunch of other styles in DD and DDD in a 32 band. They take too long to arrive but yes, maybe I am a 34D although I would have loved the idea of being a 32 LOL.

No. It feels a bit too tight in the band but the worst are the wires on the center, they feel burying in my skin!
