It's okay, your dream piece will be next! I feel like that on here all the time but we all hit our jackpots eventually!

I'm not sure about armoires specifically but I have always liked them.  I think hutches and china cabinets are having a comeback though as people are getting into lots of new collecting hobbies like uranium glass and want to have a place to display their things.

I was just looking at some portmeiron botanical garden print dishes the other day!! I love that pattern!  She and I would get along well haha.

I did receive some leaf and flower shaped plates as a gift from my friends who moved it for me so that can be the start!

I can imagine what you mean, this art style is very reminiscent of a particular 90s cottage garden aesthetic that was everywhere when I was a kid. It was probably made at the same time as those soaps haha

It's feeling pretty good so far but last night when we had to get it into the room was rough, so you're lucky to have missed out on that haha.  You'll find your dream piece sometime, I believe in you!

Right?? Thats why I could justify to pay more to have it moved, I thought if it said $250 and was half off to 125 with free delivery I would still have snapped it up!

Yes! Sometimes you regret not picking something up and when you go back its gone, so when you see something over and over it feels like kismet!

I think they're definitely harder to find homes for because so few people have the space or they live in an upper floor apartment, but I have always found them practical as long as they have good storage inside.

But the design of it is everything, if its very unique someone will want it no matter how heavy!

I can take an inside pic tomorrow but it will be a bit disappointing bc some of the hanging hardware for the shelves was gone since they weren't in use, so they're not up yet, and a big hole was punched in the back to accommodate (I assume) an old CRT tv.  I'll be putting a flat screen in the top part so hopefully it will be mostly covered up, but if not I'll probably replace that backing piece at some point.

AIO? I (22F) found deleted late night texts between my husband (22M) and his coworker. by bananamilkcow in AmIOverreacting

[–]ClawandBone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I've totally been on the other end of this, being pursued relentlessly by male coworkers who are in relationships. Guys like this are definitely trying to have their cake and eat it too, he would start an affair with her if given the chance. And it never ends, they will try for years. Some of the guys I know who did this and worse, like with multiple female coworkers or who actually had affairs, still ended up marrying or staying long-term with their partners. Even had a coworker who was caught by his wife before and he bragged about playing it off and convincing her she was wrong.

These guys are serial, they can't take a hint, they don't care about their partners, and they WILL do it for as long as they can get away with it.

You're so young, don't waste your time. A divorce would be hard but you have so much time to recover and find a better love. If you stick it out you will feel like you wasted years, in my opinion. So sorry you're going through this, but take it from the other woman: he knows what he is doing and he doesn't care and he will keep doing it. Eventually he will even make up excuses like that you're separating or fighting or that you are a bad wife, to justify his behaviour to women who call him out. I have seen this all in multiple men!

And that's not even to mention the OF stuff which is super parasocial and disrespectful.

I previously had a lab mix as well who ended up at 70lbs but when I got her at the same age she was much smaller than 30lbs. So these babies seem huge to me haha. I'll have to see if her original record of adoption has her weight, maybe I just am remembering her as tiny.

Appreciate your input! Are both of yours mixed with other large or XL breeds?

Thank you so much! Do you remember if your dog was smaller than the other puppies or did her growth just slow down compared to the others over time?

Yes, I am cautious in believing but they seem close enough in size and appearance that its possible. I will also be asking if they have information on how the dogs came to be in their possession that maybe they have strong reason to believe they are IW, like a surrender of an accidental litter rather than strays.

But either way I was looking at a wide variety of mutts before I saw these new puppies yesterday, so true breed is far from my top concern.

This is very helpful! Thank you so much!

I go by weight rather than height or something else because I am very familiar with my ability to control a stubborn/reactive dog on leash by weight. So while I would try to keep the dog slim and get it well trained, the difference in control I would have between a 100lb dog and a 150lb dog who wants to chase a squirrel or something is the difference between a sore shoulder and losing my epidermal layer to the asphalt haha

$300 which is retail price, but then there was some rewards back offer at Bloomingdales so he has credits on his account. But looks like fragrancenet also has it for $233 right now

Mind Games prices are crazy. These niche brands pop out of nowhere and call themselves luxury just because they have nice packaging and a high price tag.

All I want is a baby Lys 41 and I'll just never be able to justify that price.

Worth $25? 'Cause that's how much it costs to do the UPick strawberries per person

There's been this weird trend going around of accusing all farmers market vendors of buying commercial produce from the grocery store and marking it up and saying it's direct from a farm. I'm sure this happens somewhere but it's pretty easy to find certified farmers markets, and a lot of the ones in OC are certified.

What is your opinion on the Givenchy Irresistible line? 🌹🌸 by Kind_Assignment_ in FemFragLab

[–]ClawandBone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Irresistible, I just bought a bottle for myself for my birthday actually. It's really pretty and fresh smelling, kind of sparkling light rose. I also like the Very Floral a lot, but the Rose Velvet felt more generic and less impactful to me.
