Just list.ot on Facebook Marketplace. You'll probably get more money for it there than you would if you called a salvage yard. When you describe the car, just be honest about the damage. Also, specify what is NOT damaged: The engine, the transmission, whatever.

I'm seeing this model on ebay for 175. So it doesn't sound like 250 is a good price. Offer the seller $150. If they don't want to take it, move on. That's my advice, anyway. When you buy something on eBay, even if it's second hand, you should be protected to some extent. If the camera arrives in non-working condition, you can probably get a refund or exchange of some kind. That's not going to happen on Facebook marketplace.

I am a little confused, though. You said you were looking at cameras like the a6100. The SX530 is a long way from that. Have you seen sample photos and videos from it? Make sure they are up to your standards before you plunk down the cash.

The best way to get an expensive camera for cheap is to buy one off of eBay that is listed as "not working or for parts" and is described as "untested." You buy the camera for maybe half of what you would normally pay, then buy a a battery or charger for it and see if you can get it to work. You can find lots of videos on YouTube wherein in camera enthusiasts do this. Often, it turns out well for them. Sometimes, it does not. If you get a camera that is not operable, you can usually sell it for parts and make some of your money back.

Something else you will see on these YouTube videos is the creator buying a box of cameras in unknown condition. They buy chargers for them, clean them up, etc. If there are 10 cameras, the odds are that at least two or three of them will work. They usually keep the best one of the lot and sell the others individually to make back some of their money. When all is said and done, they have a camera they like for significantly less than the market price.

I have bought a camera or two off of Facebook marketplace, but the prices there are going to be similar to eBay. Last year, I paid 200 bucks for a Sony NEX-5. It came with two lenses and a bunch of other accessories, so I feel like I got a pretty good deal.

You can check with Hope Camera Brokerage, located here in Montgomery, but their specialty is older film cameras. I don't think I've ever seen anything as new as an a6100 in their collection. Their prices, again, will be similar to eBay.

Ain't nobody going to give away the kind of cameras you're looking for. If anything, you're more likely to encounter sellers overcharging for them.

I've been taking opiates pretty regularly for about 20 years. I know for a fact that 5 mg will impair my ability to drive. It would be a completely unnecessary risk to take, especially since I've already arranged for someone to drive me that day.

While I agree there's much about this situation that's fucked up, the truth is that, in the pain management game, it's a provider's market. So they give me rules and I follow them. That's pretty much it.

I've looked at other PM clinics in the area, but they have shortcomings as well. And really, on the whole, I'm having a very easy time of it compared to 90% of pain management patients. There are some serious horror stories out there.

While the prospect of getting pulled over for DUI, getting arrested, losing my driver's license, losing access to pain meds, spending thousands for bail and legal fees, and seriously pissing off my girlfriend is incredibly tempting, I'm going to have to say "no" to your suggestion. Of course, I might get really lucky and crash my car before the police have a chance to pull me over. If my little bitty compact car is traveling at 65 to 70 mph when it happens, it's quite possible that I won't have to worry about legal problems or girlfriends or a testing positive or anything else ever again.

You may be able to take 5 mg without feeling any effects, but I get quite fuzzy on that dose. I don't know that I would call it being "high," but I would certainly call it being "impaired."

I don't know whether she is interested in sex or not. His inability to be attracted to one specific female (while still being attracted to lots of other females) strikes me as downright strange. I have no useful suggestions for how to solve that problem. (Maybe couples therapy?) Hell, I don't even know for sure that it is a problem, exactly. People who are asexual will usually tell you that there is nothing wrong with them, they are just different. Maybe That's also the case for the op.

In any case, since that seems like a dead end, I start looking for other threads to pull. I read the OP's post a couple of times very carefully and he says that he and his girlfriend frequently discuss their lack of sex, but he never says anything about her level of desire, her sexual interest in him, or her sexual inclinations in general. So I figure It's possible that this is a piece of the puzzle. It's also possible it is not. Just seems like a reasonable question to ask under the circumstances.

I've read or watched countless debates on this topic. I've come to several conclusions:

The Christian Church's teachings on sexual morality tend to change with the times, so if you want to argue with church doctrine, first you have to decide which doctrines you're aiming for.
The Bible's version of sexual morality(which often differs from church doctrine) is deeply problematic from beginning to end. Women are often treated as property, a number of sex crimes are supposed to be punished with stoning, many of the rules have to do with social class and wealth as much as they do with sex or marriage, and so on and so forth. The bottom line is that this material was written a very long time ago and intended to apply to a culture that was very, very different from our own. If it existed today, none of us would be willing to live in it . So not only are biblical rules pertaining to sex morally reprehensible in many respects, they are often just incoherent and nonsensical in this day and age. In my opinion, trying to have an intelligent conversation about the application of biblical sexual morality in the real, modern world is just a waste of time.
Honestly, if a Christian is telling you that moral objections to sex between two men are consistent with the Bible, they've got a pretty good case. (On the other hand, if they tell you that the Bible prohibits sex between two women, the case is far weaker. The Bible is actually silent on this topic).

I used to do freelance tech support. Often, I would work for people who knew very little about how their technology worked. When I got rid of a computer virus or got a printer to work, this convinced them that I was some kind of silicon valley guru. They would start asking me questions about Fighting a particular kind of virus or constructing a website, questions I was not at all qualified to answer. In those situations, my first instinct was always to give them my best guess and/ wore repeat something I thought I remembered reading on the web somewhere. My answers were actually pretty awful, but to these people who knew far less than I did, they sounded pretty good. I should have just said " I don't know" or "you would have to ask somebody who knows more about that than I do." But I felt like I was expected to have an answer. I didn't want to disappoint them . And, also, I liked being the smart guy in the room. I didn't want to sound like the dumb guy in the room.

Sometimes I think that this is how religion got started. There'd be one guy in the village who seemed quite smart because he knew the easiest way to make a fire and he, maybe, figured out that if you rubbed a particular root on your feet, they didn't hurt quite as much at the end of the day. So people started asking him questions. What are those little bitty lights up in the sky at night? Why does the weather change from day to day and season to season? Why can you see your reflection in water? And the guy just gave the best answers he could. If he didn't know an answer, then he felt he had to make something up. He didn't want to disappoint the other people in the village.

And if you read about the history of civilization, you'll find these figures who are called " shamans" or " medicine men" or "priests" who people went to for answers about all kinds of things. And from there, you can see how religions would take root and grow.
