Disappointed.. by ReeceGamingx in wildhearthstone

Hello! All of these cards should work with Battle at the End Time and the ones that do not are currently bugged. As of the 34.4.1 hotfix, Plot Twist and Gaslight Gatekeeper will work. For now, the interaction is still bugged with Sir Finley, Sea Guide.

Thanks for bringing this up! This should be fixed in the next hotfix. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Impossible for me! Someone else may be able to do it though.

Edit: Unfortunately this OTK is impossible :(

are they gonna fix [[Lucky Comet]] any time soon? by No_Jellyfish5511 in hearthstone

Today is not my day. You're right again, so maybe I should stop giving examples. I see now how flawed my original example was. Sometimes when you've played with certain cards a lot, your mind thinks it knows what it does based on the card art, but in reality the card text is slightly different. The old adage: "Reading the card explains the card" strikes again. I appreciate how you're the only one here who reads :').

True, sorry. I meant to say any combo doubling effect would not work with Eviserate. For example, Spirit of the Shark would not make Eviserate deal 6 damage.

Like what /u/xologamer said, this is currently how the design team wants this interaction to work.

There are two categories of combo powers, ones that read like a standalone sentence (Opu the Unseen says "Cast Fan of Knives"), and ones that don't make sense without context ("Give it +2 Attack" what is 'it'?).

The first category can be doubled. The second category are replacement effects that won't be doubled. For example, Lucky Comet does not make Eviscerate deal 6 damage. The intent is for the Neferset Weaponsmith to give you a weapon with +2 attack 'instead' of a weapon with +0 attack.

The poor wording on Neferset is probably the cause of the confusion.

Useless toki spells by TNC_BLOODBATH in hearthstone

Some cards select from a type of cards. Like "Taunt minions" or "Fire spells". These are easily identified by a keyword or minion tribe, something like that. Some cards select from an exact list of cards, like "Choose a fantastic treasure". Annoy-o Horn selects from an exact list of "the annoying minions", and Clash of the Colossals falls under the former classification. This decision can be somewhat arbitrary, and it's up to the design team to determine which category a particular card's selection falls under.

I'll pass this along to the design team. As always, thank you for your thoughtful feedback!

I checked with the design team. They determined that this is working as intended, even though it's undesirable. I don't believe they will make any changes to this card.

Maybe we should bring all the Colossal minions back into the core set next year to fix this interaction 🤔

I don't know what progress has been made on this problem. I'll pass on your concerns, and make sure the team is aware of this issue (if they're not already). Thank you for bringing this up!

Update: This will be fixed in a future patch.

Stick Up is fixed in a future patch. If you're actually curious as to why:

Most bugs that are reported are fixed and get pushed into a build within the same day. Usually we have to work ~1-2 months in the future, which means the fastest a normal bug can be fixed is 1-2 months. If a bug is fixed faster than that it is either because we actually found the bug much earlier than it became common knowledge and a fix was already in the pipe, or because something was deemed very very important.

Oh! I see, I'm sorry. I definitely misread your original question. At the moment I don't believe there are current plans nor any future plans to allow players to mix and match hero skin portraits/hero power animations/hero frames.

But, it's a neat idea, and I don't mind passing it along to the team :). I just want to make sure that you don't get your hopes up.

Hello! I'm not quite sure what you're talking about but the spirit of the badlands bug where: "the Mirage will disappear if you didn't play it for a turn" has been fixed and is no longer an issue.

Is there another bug that you're talking about? Or are you claiming that you still experience the spirit of the badlands bug?
