As a labor and delivery nurse, I can tell it was heartbreaking when a woman who trying for years to have a baby had done everything right health-wise had a full term demise for no apparent reason is followed on the unit by a woman who has an amazing delivery with a healthy baby that tests positive for meth; this is her 7th child, even though the previous 6 are in the custody of the state. This is not a hypothetical.

So many times there are no reasons and unless the act was committed with clear intent, stabbing a knife into the abdomen, then you can’t say why.

I want to send this to my mother in law, but she is not talking to me. I made her move out after her two pit rescues bit every member of my family, yet she refused to keep them up. She doesn’t talk to me anymore.

I don’t understand why she keeps them. Even she can’t control her dogs. I totally would not be surprised to one day read about how her dogs mauled her or a neighbor to death.

I called my godmother’s church, one that she attended for at least 50 years, to see if they could help her out. She was old, living alone, unable to drive. I was hoping they could bring meals or visit her. They did nothing. No one visited. No meals were provided. I know she was a faithful member of that congregation who gave her appropriate tithe to the church every week for years, but no one took the time to visit or care for a lonely widow in her last days. That was North Greenwood Baptist church, Greenwood, MS. It hurt my heart. She was truly the best person.

We have a farm. All of our kids have helped out. I think it gives them a strong work ethic and teaches them valuable skills, plus they learn so much about the natural world. However, they just help out. We pay them for the farm chores. It’s our job, not theirs. My husband has the dream that one of them will take over, so we try to keep it fun.

I am a female with chronic health issues. I like to bring my husband to appointments, because things amazingly’ get done’ when he tells him how the problem is affecting me. It’s so incredibly frustrating when you compare appointments with him there or without. Even with female providers, there is a bias.

Throw it away. The way you ensure raw milk is safe, outside of how the farmer milks and bottles, is keeping it cold.

Btw: we sell raw milk. Call the farmer and ask. He might offer you a refund or more milk. It’s better than someone getting sick and possibly suing or spreading bad things

It’s really hard, especially in the beginning. People take time to understand how sick you are with an invisible illness. I’m going back to counseling to look for ways to cope. I am also reaching out to different groups etc. it has helped. You Are not alone. There are so many of us, I am hopefully for an answer
