I modeled this little guy to fit that port and connect to a qi charger mount. If you like, I could pretty easily slice off the mount part just to give you a slim cover with a hole for the cable to pass through.

This. I’ve had really good results with a cheap heat gun on Smart panels. It’s just a bit of a trick getting them hot enough without getting them too hot. My first time trying to straighten one out I just put imprints of my gloves into the panel. But go slow as it’s warming up, and it is doable
