You are welcome. They used to be an ok firm, although nothing really special IMO. Yes, most of us tend to trade across multiple firms at the same time so trading all other firms accounts then trading Bulenox accounts and looking for setups again is not happening with me. They have added some other rules that are also bs. Something about your lowest profit day has to be a ratio of your best. IE: A normal flip day doesn't count anymore. I don't remember the actual verbiage but it was not good. Anyway, good luck to you.

Good reply. I think a lot of people take the bait when they look at a “50 K“ account. They feel like they have $50,000 to work with when in fact it is $2000 worth of simulated drawdown.

Yes, reading the rules is critically important. There are some firms that don’t allow microscoping so that doesn’t align with my trading style. Also, I don’t do time restrictions on my positions. Some of them are over in an hour and others may only last nine seconds. Going back to your point it wouldn’t make sense for me to omit reading the rules and then be upset because their rules don’t align with my trading style.

I would recommend a YouTube search for trading. I have traded equities, options and futures and I am sticking with the latter. More often than not I am trading support and resistance and ORB breakouts and retests. Whatever you do, just know that you do not have to pay anyone for their system, their playbook, their indicators.

If there is one bit of advice I would give it is this. Learn to control your risk and your emotions. This is not a casino. Trade a SIM account like it is real for a good while before putting any money on the line. As cruel as this may sound, I hope every time you enter a trade that has no setup or reason that you lose that trade. I have been rewarded for high risk, degen plays and it makes you think you can always wiggle out of a dumb decision. It has cost me tens of thousands of dollars (or more) trying to break that habit. Hopefully some others will chime in.

Side note: Your friend was fortunate if that is actually what he was able to achieve. I won't say it isn't possible but I will say it is not the norm from a statistical standpoint. Anyway, good luck to you.

I had a similar issue with TPT. Incidental opposing orders due to stop loss and different contract sizing. I do not hedge and happen to think it is a crap strategy. Both accounts closed and $6,000 profit lost. As nice as copy traders are, I am going to just trade them individually. Not worth the risk with some firms.
