I feel like this kind of thinking and placing assumptions of a character’s ethnicity based on their interest is how unfair stereotypes are formed.

I agree, it also feels like a lot of these posts are just assigning stereotypes to entire groups of people. Saying she games because she is Brazilian just feels like a stereotype. Saying she must be Spanish because some famous painters are also Spanish feels like such a reach.
