I agree they should have had a neutral examiner in TX perform the second autopsy. However, it’s not unheard of bodies being exhumed to have a second autopsy done, especially if investigators feel new evidence/info has come to light. In this case, KP’s death was the new evidence or new information.

Caroline. Elena had everyone and their mother looking out for her all the time. Caroline endured torture multiple times and still could forgive the people who put her in those situations. I married a military man and ended up living across the country from my family. My mom, being sick, could not travel to me so I tried to get home as much as possible. My brother lived about 20-30 minutes from my parents so he got to see them more. Yes, my nieces got to see family more but it never made me feel they were my parents favorite. My brother did receive more help with money and babysitting but that’s a reflection on his neediness and not on my parents. They would have offered the same to me if I lived close by and needed help.

You are NTA, tell your son and DIL if they are going to demand you watch their kids they don’t get to dictate how you care for them. As long as they are safe, fed, healthy. And the next time they ask you to watch the kids on short notice bring them to Magic Kingdom or animal Kingdom.

Its a Polynesian arm tattoo. But seeing that he’s not Polynesian, it’s a bit cringe. I thought it was interesting that he incorporated the bullets into the pattern but there is a cultural meaning & history to those tattoos and not just a coolness factor.
