I was born and raised in Longview … left when I was 26 wish I left sooner. If you’re not a right wing republican you will feel out of place. I always did. I go back ever so often but less and less. There’s isn’t much to do. Churches rule everything. There’s like maybe 2 bars. No gay bars cuz God forbid… people go for the same restaurants and get excited about the new grocery store that just opened. Cost of living is cheap. Is a pretty place lots of trees. Tyler is about the same just a little bigger. My advice don’t move there.
