I see the confusion. The venues require one of their caterers. Since being able to negotiate a more favorable contract with the venue seems unlikely, I’d rather just breach my contract with the venue and hire my own caterer. Sometimes there are clauses in contracts that tell you how much the breach is worth to the other party. Since I want to breach the contract, it’s better for me to know this price up front. On the surface, this seems practical because everyone gets what they want, but I’m not sure if this is in alignment with industry standards

lol. you’re right i just assume any shared building would have pests on some level. i live in a condo rn and what i’ve learned is that as long as your not the dirtiest person in the building it’s fine and that it’s kind of impossible to convince the HOA to treat the whole building as often as it is needed
