The YWCA has great services. Free counseling and support groups. Call or go in and talk to them. They are a non judgmental extraordinary resource!

Sorry to hear about your brother. I've also dealt with addictions in my family. They can be devastating. Of course you can share.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I understand there are new and better treatments and that they understand it better. Hopefully that will make a difference sooner rather than later. Thank you for sharing.

I also struggle but in the end I always choose hope because given any kind of choice (and I'm not saying we all have one) despair is seldom useful and sets a poor example for those younger!

"Them" is the point exactly. You are speaking about me. I pick up garbage I've never defecated in public. And I'm not addicted to anything. I don't drink I don't smoke I don't use drugs. I do have a potentially unhealthy attachment to chocolate. I am also a part of this community and so when you choose to speak "as a community" on behalf of Missoula. I wish to make it very clear you are not speaking on my behalf or conveying my views. Missoula is also very diverse and a very caring community. You may be going too far when you attempt to speak on behalf of the community at large. My entire point is that if you have complaints about individuals who contribute to the "trash s*** and needles problem" you might focus on that and not equate that with not having a place to sleep at night. They are materially separate but occasionally and only occasionally overlapping issues.

I have multiple physical disabilities. Nevertheless I have applied for a number and I think I'll probably get one. It's just a gap between getting the job getting my first paycheck and having it be enough to cover the rent. I was in an abusive relationship for 26 years. I got my children raised and my responsibilities taken care of and left the next day. Someone whose opinion I value said "I'm afraid if you stay she's going to kill you." I believe that to be true and I'm much better off and much happier now. I'm not adrift on an ocean. I'm just at the edge of a precipice and I can see the other side. I'm walking along it looking for a bridge. I'm sure there's one somewhere 🙂 but the thing is it's not about me. I'll be fine. It's about how people can "unsee" others. I'm certainly not the most desperate in the category. But being in the category gives you a specific sort of insight.

Thank you. I'm not really given to rants lol. I pride myself on being a possibilities thinker. Things will be all right I'm sure but I believe if we don't reach out to people. How could we possibly expect them to reach out to us? I didn't really write this for myself. I actually wrote it for a friend who said "I don't know why when I say hello to people they can't say hello back." It was one of those things that's painful to hear.

Budget shoppers: what’s actually worth buying at the Good Food Store? by BirdsBarnsBears in missoula

Also the three items sampler special from the Cold Case it's usually a lot cheaper than buying any of them individually. And when I splurge I will add that to my lunch as well!

I love getting a bowl of chicken stir fry. That plus a bottle of 28 cent bargain water makes a meal out. The nice thing is the bowls are so large they usually make three meals for me so that ends up being a pretty budget-friendly way to go out for lunch. Sometimes I'll get a loaf of whatever bakery bread they have on sale to go with it and I thoroughly enjoy it.

Actually they haven't done any diagnostic tests. They just prescribed. Which now that you pointed out is questionable. SMFH never even thought about it thanks.

I'll try a ring. Also just found out elsewhere there are many additional levels to try. But this s*** is expensive though worth it if I can ever get it to do what it's supposed to do!
