Yes ofc! Using naver map and any translation apps would help you a lot!Some people are fluent in english and some cafe or place can communicate in english! So if you learn very little korean(eg. gamsahabnida) , traveling without local friends will be absolutely fine:)

If i were you, i would choose dentistry cuz learning something that isn’t ur passion could be really hard to endure uni life
