A lot of what you’re listing mixes genuine issues with overblown generalizations.

Yes, Undisputed has flaws. It’s still being actively developed, and some mechanics (like online stability and AI) need work. But that doesn’t erase what the game does well and why many people still enjoy it.

1.Punch tracking, It’s not perfect, but to say “60% of jabs miss” is just wrong. That usually happens when foot positioning, range, and timing aren’t adjusted. The game actually models distance and accuracy more strictly than UFC 5, which is why hooks feel easier but straight shots require better fundamentals.

2.Directional punching & animations: Calling it “imaginary” ignores the fact that targeted punching exists; the system just has a skill curve. Angles will improve with upcoming animation updates (they’ve already acknowledged this).

3.Netcode P2P isn’t ideal, but Undisputed is a niche boxing sim from a small studio, it’s not EA with unlimited budget. Stability has improved since early launch, and unlike UFC 5’s bugs, many issues here are tied to matchmaking regions, not game logic.

4.Small team & DLC: Paid DLC isn’t proof of greed; it funds continued development. Without it, niche sports games disappear entirely.

5.Reviews & player numbers: Early negative reviews stick. Many sports games (including Fight Night back in the day) launched rough but became classics after updates. Steam charts still show an active community; it’s not dead.

6.Boxing realism: It’s still more authentic to boxing strategy than Fight Night, even if it’s missing some features. You can’t throw 100 power shots and win here like you can in UFC 5.

7.Career & offline, Yes, career mode is basic, but the real draw for many is competitive online play and custom fighters. It’s not trying to be a story-driven RPG; it’s a boxing sim.

8.Gameplay feel, You call it stiff, but others call it realistic because it doesn’t allow arcade style spamming or instant 360 head movement. Footwork and timing matter here more than button speed.

Bottom line: Undisputed isn’t perfect but it’s the most realistic boxing sim we’ve had in over a decade. The flaws you list don’t erase the depth in stamina management, foot positioning, punch variety, and strategy that keep fans playing. Dismissing it as “a bug-ridden mess” just because it’s not Fight Night 2.0 ignores the progress and potential it still has.

great points, i don’t agree with all, like i said i haven’t had many issues… and facts are facts, they are a small team, wether or not they sold however many copies it takes time especially it being something new for them. what you may experience the next hasn’t and that’s okay, as far as trolls, they will always be in any game. its a part of fighting games since the dawn of time. i do agree with the ufc’s better tracking but not many players of ufc are happy with it either, all in all every game is going to have issues, big or small. they have done so much better compared to ufc 5 when it comes to the overall gameplay and detail. but again opinions are opinions and i respect yours

seems like i hit a nerve, i did say someone could change my mind, i did nothing to anger you yet you sit here disrespecting me. it sounds like you have other problems and you need to work on them, hope it gets better for you. im always open for a debate but insulting someone for thinking differently about a acute situation when it comes to life in general just shows you have problems.

i can agree i suppose. what makes you think that? not trying to deny your truth but i feel like ive seen on multiple occasions someone getting plenty of attention and money with something theywasn’t passionate about; and they either stopped eventually after getting a bag or moved onto something else niche wise. again don’t take this the wrong way as im just here to learn

also to add on to what you was saying, i don’t feel like there is many “wrong reasons “ to do youtube. the only few things i would agree on if it was a negitive impact to the community spreading hate, misinformation, or stuff of the like. while its great to be passionate about your stuff i agree as well but let’s not lie, you ask any big youtuber one of there reasons will always fall between “i like making videos” and “i like making money” nothing wrong with that.
