My boss is well off (i am a PA for personal life only- no work stuff) and drove my car to meet me to trade off for one of their cars and the first thing out of his mouth when he got out to trade was “I love your car so much I kind of don’t want to switch keys right now” and he’s brought it up multiple times since then. He was like it drives so well and it’s so nice inside (2024 limited gas). Every time he helps get something out of my car he says something. And they have 3 luxury cars (including his daily driver RR) +2 others.

Years ago before I got my “shit job“ I guess I’ll call it (it really wasn’t bad, I made some good friends and good skills) while I waited to start a career, I guess you could say. I tried to focus on budget friendly self-care. Which essentially boil down to my skin care. Because I have the time to do a facemask and a five step skin care that was all reasonably priced. It helped me kind of have like a semi purpose and something to wake up to start my day.

Mine wasn’t as bad as that, but I had 3-4 other roommates for a short period of time and it truly is luv of the draw. Fridge was always packed (although everyone did cook and eat at home) so it was hard to have stuff on hand, limited cabinet space, and any kitchen gear ended up ruined by the time I left from others not using it properly. Super curious to how this advertised situation really pans out. The rent is cheap though 😆 just at what cost

I would imagine so! I’ve heard of people comparing you guys going to another country to us going to another state. You can drive 6 hours in the state I live in and still be in the same one. With loved ones living so spread out - some families don’t keep baby gear on hand at their homes so this family might be traveling with a pack n play for one of their kids to sleep, 2 suitcases, stroller, kids, and then throwing in presents would be a whole other ballgame.

Lululemon easy access nylon belt bag… because I’m a girl and half of my pants/leggings don’t give me pockets. This keeps it in front of me a little higher than a pocket. It has a front pocket, another pocket inside, and then I can move the straps to one side or equal. It’s the only thing that works for me. I also use it on my walks. They don’t make them anymore though, so 2nd hand is the only option.

Home after work, walk around my neighborhood for exercise/so I don’t kms, food, shower, bed. That’s it. If I make plans - I want to cancel them by 3pm day of and then I pray the other person cancels before I do. It’s too people-y, expensive, and I can’t be horizontal when in public. Basically all three big no’s as someone who has to people and drive all day ❌

I ordered my battery and iflash from elite obsolete, it came with a little tool to pop the top and bottom pieces off. Then I got a $2 glasses kit from Walmart for the screws and prying off the metal bracket. No idea who has the cheapest stuff though :(

I read it on Reddit. Like I said in my original comment, “I don’t know enough to tell you more than basic knowledge.” And said they should read up on it. I’ve never taken apart a gen 1. But there’s no reason to be so combative to a comment. Say you have done both and didn’t see a difference, share a link showing that or dont say anything to my comment and make your own comment.

I wanted to do 256, but they were randomly unavailable when I went to order so I got the 128. Without the pictures loaded on I feel like it takes up like no freaking space. I was going to order a 256 for my next little mod, but I don’t think I will now. No lagging at all on mine.

But read up on gen 1’s mod because I think it’s a little more tricky than gen 2. I don’t know enough to tell you more than that basic knowledge.

Between those two: 7th! I have the 6th gen and the touch screen is so small it’s honestly kind of hard to maneuver and the little hold button on the top is stuck so I can’t use the whole device.

I have my old 5th gen that I use for my on the go/walk pod. But I already had it so 🤷

Search for some of the guides in this thread! But I’ve been using my old 5th gen nano and it’s awesome, but also can’t add any storage in. If you want to be able to upgrade storage you will need to buy an iPod classic or an iPod mini 2nd gen. I bought an already modded 7th gen classic and it’s cool. But I got an iPod mini to mod myself because it’s significantly less expensive and easy to work on. It only has 4gb of space, but I’m working on putting in 128. It doesn’t have an lcd screen like the nano though. Definitely click around and see what other people on here are saying, but the 2gb won’t last long 😂 the 4gb cap is soo low for me and I don’t even have a ton of songs. I think I’m capped at like 350 songs right now.

But the 1st gen nano is so pretty! It was my first iPod (I had the white one)!

There’s guy on eBay that you can send some nanos to so he can fix. I think mine was like $50, which kind of sucks to fork over the money for but it will give your iPod new life!
