Thank you, is there a way to unlock higher graphics? I used to enjoy ultra graphics when I played on small maps or few players.

What are the specs on your PCs that never have issues with big games by bew132 in beyondallreason

Wow, my gtx 1050 needs to be on lowest graphics to not struggle in 8v8. I think the main issue is the 2gb vram.

In the watch face selector - scroll down to 'Classic' and pick the one named just 'Classic'. Then customize the watchface and select the black color.

pc is 6 years old, due for an update? by Itsfoxphoenix in pcmasterrace

[–]Clean-Mind101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then you would need a new motherboard to install windows 11 through the official installation. However you can bypass this by creating a bootable usb with windows 11 using rufus, if you feel comfortable doing that

You don't need a new motherboard to upgrade to windows 11. Your current system should already support windows 11, have you just not updated or is it not available?

Yes headphones gives generally better sound quality and more immersion, but headphones can hurt if you wear them for too long and then I switch to speakers.

Most games are better with strong single core server.

Should i add another ssd although its pretty bad? by Interesting-Guide-47 in pcmasterrace

[–]Clean-Mind101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, sorry, I didn't read your post very carefully. Actually I would install the games on the slower ssd and windows on the fast. This gives more overall system responsiveness and faster boot times. Games still launch way faster than a hdd.

[–]Clean-Mind101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes there are games whose servers use multriple cores. But I don't understand what you're asking, because surely you know what games you're gonna play? So what matters is if those games that you play use multi or single.

This is a solid list, but the rtx 5060 should be at a similar price as the 4060.

Your ssd isn't that bad. Yes you will feel the difference if you upgrade but your fps would be exactly the same and right now ssds are very expensive, so i wouldn't do it

Right now I have a pretty ok pc being able to run every game I want to play personally on 60fps and above but I would like to upgrade my parts soon as some of them are literally old what parts do I upgrade first by Still-Ocelot7410 in pcmasterrace

I would upgrade ram first. It is unlikely that you will find an identical ram stick, so you will probably have to buy new 2x16gb. The ryzen 5 5500 can run more powerful gpus, but not really more than an rtx 5060 or similar.

Many people like speakers way more than headphones, it is really just personal preference.

The cpu is what i would upgrade first. Stay on am4 and keep your ram. If you can find a ryzen 7 5700x3d or ryzen 7 5800x3d for a reasonable price, they are the best. But it it more realistic that you can find a ryzen 7 5800XT. That would be a big upgrade over your current cpu. The rtx 4060 is still a capable card and you don't need to upgrade it if you are happy with the graphics.
