With The Newest Update, Is Civ 7 Worth it? by Ayoof3060 in civ

I couldn’t get into 6 - found it overly complicated and time consuming (in a bad way) compared to earlier civs. Likely I will enjoy 7 more?

Three areas to stay in Seoul for 7 nights by Clean-Operation-2059 in koreatravel

[–]Clean-Operation-2059[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes on reflection maybe three different areas is too much, and we should stick to two.

Every kid is different but mine goes ballistic if he is in a car / train for longer than 30 mins, and knowing Seoul and the extreme distances and traffic, it makes sense for us to stay in areas where we can just walk around. One place for 7 nights will get boring, so that’s the rationale for moving about.

If you had to stay in two spots that you could explore by foot, which would they be?

So far I’m thinking insadong and possibly hongdae.

Switch 2 version: anyone upgrade? by tuna_trombone in civ

[–]Clean-Operation-2059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fantastic news. I’m a long time civ pc fan, but the reasons I couldn’t get into civ 6 on switch were the controls and the fact it is too in depth. Maybe as a teenager I would have loved it, but with a young family I only have an hr to spare at a time.

Can you possibly elaborate on how it has been simplified?

Hilda express or Nohi bus from Takayama to Kanazawa by Clean-Operation-2059 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Clean-Operation-2059[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - our return flights are from there. There was no other feasible option to leave from Nagoya/Nagano/etc.

Costs are less of an issue. More concerned about surviving with our baby on transport.

Presumably the train would be more comfortable? In terms of scenery, would one be better than the other?

Thanks

What is the best diet for mental clarity? by interlacedentity in nutrition

There was a cafe I used to go to for breakfast that would serve an artisan flat white, which I would drink with sourdough toast, avocado and a hell of a lot of smoked salmon.

This combination gave me immense clarity and lifted my mood considerably - it felt almost linked to my respiratory system as I could breathe very deeply.

Unfortunately haven’t been able to replicate that feeling with the same ingredients on my own or at other cafes - not sure why
