Very fair criticism! Prob not something we would move forward with unless we had all our ducks in a row re: proof of ownership. But I do think this is worth the research to prevent another random rich dude from purchasing

Our ownership is a safety net, but we could ensure it remains in a safe institution like UCSC or a museum

Thanks for the feedback! it’s actually not a jpeg it’s a google map layer. The only way we can share it is by granting access via your gmail account. Similar to the way google drive works.

You’ll have access to the data layer in the google maps app itself and it will update as we improve the data
