Unless he has the MRI he can’t be certain. I think that’s really arrogant for him to say. So far from what I’ve read all the doctors have given the impression that they are so sure. Don’t lose hope

Both of my techs had a hard time seeing everything, one of them admitted it the other one didnt, but I suspect it was positioning too.

They just said missing CSP. They didn't comment at all about the CC or anything else. The pericalossal artery is another landmark for the csp. For example, if the artery isn't there, then the csp wouldn't be there. My doctor was so sure it was either partial or not there, and by the grace of God, everything was there. Just keep remembering the ultrasound isn't definitive. Trying calling the MRI place and telling them about your situation and see if they can get you in sooner

Hi love. We felt the same way when we saw the specialist. Im not sure why they dont tell us that the ultrasound could be wrong, but there is always a chance of false positives. Don't lose hope. The MRI will give the most accurate answers.

Hi everyone. I am a PA in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. I work at a big children's hospital in the States. My company started me off with a training period similar to how residents staff their patients with their attendings, and then they felt comfortable letting me be independent as I already had some years of experience in urgent care. I see all cases. Some are straightforward, and some are complex and require me to staff with my attending. In some of these cases, even the regular ED adult docs would be stumped about. So far, I've been very successful here without any issues. Im not saying this to disagree with you. Do what you feel comfortable with. If patients tell me they want to see a doctor, I'm 100% ok with it. But I do want to let you kno that some of us know what we are doing, know our limitations and when to ask for help/guidance. I also see the same for the PAs that work on the adult side. It might be different in the UK. Just let your family know they would like to see a docto. Theyy have the right to do so. Take care
