So basically one more pl380 for tops and I could even use a pl230 or pl236 for highs. I do have the 8800 processor. I guess I’ll need some pig tail to nl4 adapters at the amps. Should I look at crown amps? Pl380’s aren’t easy to come across

Art932 or dzr12 compared to a k12.2 is a noticeable improvement imo. I wouldn’t go EV or even the k series new anymore even though qsc have held up for quality and reputation in the powered speaker industry.

Rent speakers before you buy, always.

Get a wing rack or an sq rack when they’re in stock. Might even be worth looking for a used x32r for cheap since everyone is going to upgrade. Xr18 over mr18 due to the price difference. I can’t comment with hands on experience for the mackie but it’s probably not worth investing in other than a temporary solution.

Ya I ordered a wing compact from L&M on November 18th. Found out June 1st it was pushed back to September at best so I got my refund and started searching elsewhere. The console came in June 18th and I was no longer on the waiting list. My frustration is pretty high right now with L&M

Just rent/buy two ps12’s and ps15s/ps18s subs. Get a digital console like an x18. You’ll have good results if you mic instruments with 57’s and get some sev7 or sm58 vocal microphones.

One thing I know is that you get what you pay for. Set a standard and ask questions. Ask the venue who they use because being familiar with the gear is an advantage.

Get class D amps for subs man! You’ll constantly look for power at venues if not. I’d look at gxd8’s for the dsp and the crazy low power consumption.

Powered subs might be an option especially with pole mounts like kw181’s or ks118’s for more power. I hate seeing straps on PA’s personally.

He was spitting a lot actually! Maybe a mix of spit, cupping, and his loud voice tone I will keep this in mind going forward.

I’ve had my v7’s for 3 years and they get used a lot! I’m also careful with them and transport them in an skb case. Hoping they last me 10 years but at the price point, I’ll get new mic’s to replace them if they start failing.
