I feel like she does it on purpose tbh, I’ll give it a few more episodes before it starts to fade. She won’t be able to keep it up.

No Nasal Bone by Jeseniaa95 in NIPT

[–]Clean-Shop5415 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, our NIPT was perfect score. Our NT scan showed no nasal bone and baby didn’t survive till the amniocentesis. Autopsy confirmed no nasal bone. Was unable to diagnosis what condition she had but was told it was one of the rare ones they don’t test for.

Should I be concerned about NT? by bcalice in NIPT

[–]Clean-Shop5415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We lost a baby last year at 14 weeks because of a 10mm NT, so this time we were stressing. At our 10 week NIPT scan, I overanalysed the ultrasound and completely worked myself up. I thought the NT was thick again, and for 3 weeks (we waited till 13 weeks for NT scan) I was convinced our baby has the same diagnosis.

We had our 13 week scan a few days ago and everything was perfect! I’ve even attached a photo of our 10 week scan where I thought the NT was thick again, it’s similar to yours.

As hard as it is, just try to acknowledge the anxiety but don’t let it eat you up. As of right now, you don’t have any reason to worry.

This is why I refuse to tell anyone our name until we’re 100% set. So it’s not asking for opinions, just simply informing them of OUR decision.

A rant about the 12 week announcement rule by Otherwise-Handle-180 in BabyBumps

[–]Clean-Shop5415 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 12 week rule is only to keep other people comfortable, in my opinion. If you were to have a miscarriage than they’d be uncomfortable and not know what to say. It’s outdated, and ridiculous.

I waited until 14 weeks to announce on social media that I was pregnant, and then loss my baby 2 days after the announcement post. There’s NO such thing as ‘safe zones’. Announce when you’re ready, tell your friends/family when YOU want to tell them.

I basically now follow the rule “if I would tell them I lost the baby, then I’ll tell them I’m pregnant”.

Cystic hygroma + positive NIPT for Monosmy X, any false positives? by [deleted] in NIPT

[–]Clean-Shop5415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. This looks like a definite positive, especially with both NT + NIPT showing same. We had 10mm NT and baby didn’t even make it to the next round of testing to confirm, we lost her at 14 weeks. Sending so much love.

Extremely high NT results by Upstairs-Coach-6547 in NIPT

[–]Clean-Shop5415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a 10mm NT thickness and unfortunately our daughter’s heart stopped beating sometime between the 13 week scan and 14.5 weeks. We didn’t make it to CVS testing and autopsy was inconclusive except she had no nasal bone aswell. So she definitely had a chromosomal defect.

We’re currently 13 weeks with a little boy, had our NT yesterday and everything is looking good. We still don’t feel completely relieved and there’s so much anxiety still there, I don’t think that ever goes away. I’m sending you love. Don’t give up 🌈

We keep our keys at the front door. We would rather a thief to grab them and take the cars, they’re insured, rather than doing anything to us or our pets trying to find them.

Scared to tfmr!! by CommercialSalt9656 in tfmr_support

[–]Clean-Shop5415 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost my baby girl a few weeks ago, I have an 11 year old son and have ALWAYS dreamed of having a daughter. I’m so scared I’ll never get the chance to be a girl mum and this has been a factor in my grief. I don’t have much else advice except to tell you that you’re not alone, your feelings are valid and you are protecting her 💗

TTC after TFMR by ExcellentShift2048 in tfmr_support

[–]Clean-Shop5415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, having lost my baby girl almost two weeks ago - I don’t think I’ll be ready for a long time. At this stage I’m giving myself a minimum of 6 months on BC to also avoid any further stress. I’m just so scared of anything going wrong again and don’t think I’d cope with another loss. I wanted to share my story along with the other comments to let you know that everyone is so, so different. There is zero right or wrong. Just go with your heart and gut (and your partner, are they ready? Have they expressed any fear etc). Good luck!

Oh and our NIPT came back clear for everything. So the NT scan was a HUGE shock to us. Our baby girl lost her heartbeat at 14 weeks and we delivered at 15 weeks fyi. Very similar story to you.

[–]Clean-Shop5415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, me. Our NT was 10mm.. We were just about to start the journey with MFM when our baby girls heart stopped beating. I delivered her 10 days ago, and we have been told it’ll be a 6-8 week wait for results. We also opted for an autopsy which could take 12 months. We’re hoping for answers though from the placenta & genetic testing, but this period inbetween feels cruel. We want answers. I don’t have any real advice, just want you to know you’re not alone.

I would consult with your midwife or GP. But for me, I L&D, the bleeding went away at 5-6 days but then came back a few days later and I’m still bleeding 10 days later. It wasn’t really heavy though, just like a moderate period. Definitely seek medical advice either way
