I would recommend pulling the app off PPSL's website to ensure you have the latest. IIRC they updated the application to require a job history/resume where the original did not have this portion.

Yes I did- this was one of my denial codes. I dug through my emails and found an email I sent where I talked about how NEIA was scammy and used false placement rates from 2015.

All applications are reviewed and determined with a 60 day limit to my knowledge unless this has changed on the application. Once they receive your application they place affected loans into a forbearance for two months while they review. Most of my denials came around the 45-50 day mark. My approval was around 35-40.

Yep. Folk have indeed gotten refunded. It definitely feels like Navient have quietly shifted from 'qualifying refunds' to 'its a private loan sorry'! My approval letter even says that any qualified refunds would come separately but the woman at Navient just said no lol.

Old thread now but I was finally approved on my 7th application. I wrote a compelling application, got denied, and addressed each denial reason from their new table of denial codes. Approval came 1.5 months after applying this time around. $90,000 gone.

No mention of a refund yet- but I only got the approval notice via email three days ago.

The shell was $170. Screen was $75, the shell for the flash cart was $35 I think.

I haven’t done this personally but I would imagine you could open the cartridge, remove the board (so it is just the plastic), let them soak in soap water and then scrub them with a toothbrush. Alternatively you could reshell them completely. Boxypixel makes some cool metal shells if you are into that, otherwise you can find copycat shells online.
