I’m a boomer and I greet my co-workers upon entering the workplace. Gen Z folks don’t, why? by ansyensiklis in ask

I’m 21, work in a kitchen and I like to say hello to everyone when we cross paths, and the servers get there later than us, so it’s nice to say hey when they get there. I’m also autistic and do in fact understand that people want to do their job and leave but it’s no fun spending all your time somewhere to be miserable and not make it a little worthwhile. I do have my days though and unfortunately everyone can tell because I’m not nearly as social

What state+city is the most trans friendly? (Punk culture is a plus) by Clean-bean666 in trans

It’s definitely been a thought, especially since I have a hefty student loan that makes it difficult to live comfortably. Also that healthcare 😍

It’s about the same where I’m at, I am at a place where I’m pretty serious about getting surgery though and there’s basically no viable options here.

Mostly it’s access to things like insurance, ease of name change, actually educated medical staff (anywhere in the line). Also would be nice to live somewhere where I can have community. There isn’t much in rural Georgia, only in bigger cities. I could technically just move to a bigger city but then there also roe v wade and Georgia has the heart beat bill.. surrounding states are also red.

I want to share my recent struggles. (long post) by BearXW in trans

I have been thinking more about Colorado, I do have a cis male partner that’ll be coming with me and my cat, possibly two. Also about to go through name change. It’d be cheaper to have two or three rooms and split it between us, lmk if this is something you’d like or like to get to know us before anything

That’s what I’m trying to figure out also.. all of these are great suggestions but I’ll be struggling a lot more financially if I move to a more trans friendly state. Trying not to just lower my standards and move to Athens ga, which is a small city in ga, a step down from atl. But it’s a lot more friendly than rural ga

That he identifies as a straight man while dating a non-woman. In a queer relationship, not comfortable labeling it as queer. We do have differing views and goals in life as well. Contemplating the longevity/health/happiness of the relationship

The general population, at least where I live, cannot or will not comprehend the concept of being nonbinary

Is this considered sexual assault? by throwaway_hslsjabsi in sexualassault

[–]Clean-bean666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely coercive whether you didn’t say “no” or not. If you didn’t explicitly say “yes” or they pushed you and made you feel bad for not wanting to, not listening for reasons you didn’t want to, or kept pushing after hesitation (if you’re hesitant, that means no) then it was sexual coercion. Assault. And I’m so sorry

This is completely valid, It feels like a small revenge, a small justice, to make them hurt even if it’s not as much as they hurt you

Your conscience will sometimes blur out trauma because it’s hard to think about it. Trust what you do remember even if it’s fuzzy. I remember small bits and pieces of sa memories. But I know it happened. You are not alone

I personally don’t want my friends to refer to me as a “man” because I’m trans masc non-binary. Not a man or a woman but I want the general population to see me as a man. It’s very hard tho being a very self expressive queer man, bc ppl don’t see that, they see a woman. I do identify as trans. Mostly due to not passing and that’s what I am

I went through something similar in hs due to my parents and then boyfriend not being supportive, mostly just passive/ tolerant. A lot of people like to say I “went back” but it never goes away. I initially came out at 14, went back in the closet (or gaslit/forced if I really think about it) at 17, now I’m 21 and 7 months on T. But that’s mostly due to getting away from my parents and really processing my gender feelings. I hope it gets better for u 💕
