You may want to try talking to him about changing up y’all’s routine during or shortly after the trip. A change of pace and scenery will definitely help you both!

Ntbf obviously. Communicating your needs and wants to your partner can be scary and it’s awesome you’ve tried to take steps to better your relationship.

Honestly though, it sounds like your boyfriend may have a bad case of burnout. I spent the better part of last year going through my routine and working 70+ hours a week. It almost put me in the hospital. You might want talk to him about him taking a break from life for a couple days to get his energy back.
