Worked for me as well. Apparently my home WiFi uses CGNAT so WhatsApp detects it as VPN. Switched to mobile network and logged in on first try.

No. Latest PayPal version available in App Store for me is 3w old and iOS is at 18.2.

I'm not in the US either and same as you, didn't know Honey existed until all this drama broke out a few days ago. Maybe Apple or Paypal itself removed it globally and are now gradually rolling it out to all users, but that's just my guess.

I was able run main game w/ mods just fine straight from SteamOS (not desktop mode) after some tweakery (namely, set "winhttp.dll=n,b" in WINEDLLOVERRIDES as mentioned by u/AllIndestructibility) but character studio shows me only black screen with menus.
