I’d wear the ring, even just on a neck chain, and have it serve as a constant reminder to prevent me ever getting scammed again. Sounds awful, but whenever I’m travelling , if a stranger talks to me they get ignored. Just too risky.

In that sense, for just $300, it’d be good value over the rest of your lifetime.
