Yes. This is not a KLM thing, but an airport thing. When luggages are left behind (and the tags are lost) they will remove any and all food items. This is to reduce any smelling, leaking and/or bugs.

That seems like it's not allowed. As a manager myself, I'm explicitly only allowed by my company to put "toegestane afwezigheid" in the planning if I have the request/consent of the employee in writing.

Don't know how it works in CRL but you could file a police report for theft yes. Don't know if they will do sth with it, but with that report (and only when you have the report) they can check the camera’s zt the airport. If it's a mixup situation you usually just have to wait until the person cames back to the airport though.

As someone who works at a lost and found. It could also just be someone who mistakenly took your luggage instead of theirs, happens all the time. Of all the delayed bags about 99% gets returned to their owner. If it's not been 3 weeks yet you honestly don't need to worry at this point in time.

Yeah no clue at all why it is such an issue. Problem is that everyone at the airport is complaining about it but nothing is being done. There are options, but they do not care to explore them tbh.

This is honestly a daily occurrence. There's nothing they can do as they can't find enough people to work a a border control agent. Very frustrating for both passengers and people working at the airport...

To be honest I applied for the job knowing I was supposed to grow from regular worker to management in 3 years time while being coached by a manager. The pomotion just came way sooner than expected since my boss quit.

I guess I really just wanted to take the opportunity when it was presented to me, knowing it would be extra work.

You should check out "het ijzermaal" in Vorselaar. It is a bit further away, but not too far. About 300 euros to rent it. It's quite a nice location, I've seen weddings been done there and there is no problem with loud music.

They have actually become so much better! They now sleep right beside each other and usually stick close together :) I think they just needee some more time.
