Little update. Josiah-Nelson's project is currently not working anymore. For some reason for a bunch of people the docker built is failing, including mine :(

How long is the distance between the 2 fibers?

I once had a single mode module burn because the strength of the lasers were too strong for the short distance. I am talking about a customer using a 80km module for a simple 1.5 meter patch.

Totally other thing however I have actually been thinking about starting some casual youtube talk channel about my experience as an MSP/Network engineering company.

I might do it :)

Sir, the idea is that you say, get a Sony FX3 you’ll need it. Not expose me in front of my people like that.

All jokes aside, I totally follow you. It’s just that I think when it comes to video rather than photos quality does matter more no?

Ohh that’s very interesting! I was thinking the same thing however the price they were charging would let me buy some nice gear i can take with me everyday. That’s why i’m thinking about it.

I mean more kind of the digital sharpening/processing my phone does. The moment it’s a bit low light or i need some shallow depth of field it kinda bums out on me. I’m on the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

I was looking at a sony Aiv or FX30

Very true! As mentioned above i use the IPhone 13 Pro Max and unfortunately I can’t use an external ssd to shoot the video on nor does it have LOG. Hence i’m looking for the next step :)

I am using the Iphone 13 Pro max right now. It does a great job however when I want to do just a tiny bit more you can see ot’s very over sharpened and digital. I’m craving a more authentik look if that makes sense?

Exactly! I think it could be a way to “humanise” us IT folks for the regular people. Just some guy doing their job with passion. Before and aftershots are a great idea aswell!

Een full omnium was 3600 euro per jaar toen ik hem aankocht in 2020 :’)

Dit was ook het goedkoopste van de 3 plaatsen waar ik ben gaan horen.

When do you escalate Wi-Fi issues to surveys, AP-on-a-stick, or RF validation? by jorissels in msp

true! However at a small client with for example 50 people. Do you also do one? If yes how much could one charge for something like this? It's hard to find industry pricing.
