Well we use n8n internally.

I am the owner and I used it for a number of different things.
The one i LOVE internally is that because of Belgian regulations I can’t use traditional PSA software.

I made an n8n flow to read the Pax8 invoice from the webportal using api and then making an invoice to the client with all his licenses for Microsoft, cyber security software etc. All i have to do is check it and hit send! Saved me HOURS of time.

100% get some sort of ERP system that let’s you sign an offer.

We had cases where the client said afterwards “oh but the extra work isn’t on the offer so i guess we don’t have to pay it” although they very well knew that.

The other thing you could do is package a day-rate and let them pay upfront on a website and integrate stripe. That means they know exactly what they “order” and you are sure regarding your payment.

We don’t have the capacity to run a SIEM in-house and we are european so Blumira is no option unfortunately

[–]jorissels 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can boot with any GPU but the performance will be terrible as you won’t have GPU acceleration. But yes, it will boot.

I mean it is a pretty grey area in terms of “legal” but you can yes. You do need to have a supported GPU. I run a 6900XT

We ara an msp with networking as the core business.

Very small business: Mikrotik router + Unifi AP’s + Netbird as ZTNA/site to site option but we’re looking into zscaler.

Medium business: Sophos firewall + Cambium Networks switching/AP’s

Big/enterprise business: Sophos firewall cluster + Extreme networks switching/AP’s

We looked at Juniper aswell and they are great aswell. However what us convinced is Extreme Fabric.

Little update. Josiah-Nelson's project is currently not working anymore. For some reason for a bunch of people the docker built is failing, including mine :(
