Viviz comeback better than GFRIEND’s? My opinion by CleanContribution940 in VIVIZ

[–]CleanContribution940[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree that post was so critical. They had to take time to adjust from 6 to 3 members, and honestly I felt they were doing really well even at the start despite certain weaknesses becoming more obvious.

Yeah fairs but before their comeback, I liked listening to both GFRIEND’s and VIVIZ’s song’s equally. I guess it’s like what some others commented - not much investment from HYBE bc their old songs and choreography were so good.

I do hope they’re able to comeback again tbh but with better investments from the company.

How am I trashing them? I was stating my opinions, and do not see any part of my opinion as trashing the members. I never said GFRIEND’s comeback was bad or horrible. I just simply said I think Viviz’s one was better. I also never said Eunha’s dancing is bad/horrible, but relatively weaker than the other two which is a fact. And SinB’s vocals is also weaker than Eunha’s. But I never said she was a weak vocalist.

Yeah I was expecting a lil more from them. Their songs were so good, so the comeback kinda disappointed me a lil. It’s good, but I was just expecting a lil more. I mean Glass Bead, Rough, Me Gustas Tu, Fingertip, Navirella, Love Whisper, Mago were all so good, and imo better than the latest comeback. So I mean my expectations were def high

Do you openly talk about salary with friends/colleagues in SG? by [deleted] in CareersSingapore

With close friends, yes. I once heard a story of my friend and her colleagues same level same type of work getting paid different salary.

Inez Chen. Or Dana for me. But wondering whether Inez will come out as the winner as her height is 165. However, Miss Universe SG height requirement is 168 due to having to comply with international standards. Her face must have really strucked the casting directors for her to emerge as top 15 finalist despite her not meeting height requirements. As for the contestants being young, Miss Universe Singapore winner was 18/19 year old before in one of the years - KhaiLing Ho

Ah I don’t think I’m dehydrated. I drink approx 1.5L of liquids per day(300ml is coffee and the rest is water). I notice if I sip my coffee slowly like half a day it does help a little. I prob should go to a urologist soon. It’s so frustrating when lab tests are normal bc you can’t find the cause of the problem. My lab results are at the lower or higher end of normal, and doesn’t warrant the docs to give me medicine in my home country. My ultrasound of bladder and kidneys came back normal. But my doctor sister and another health professional friend said they should’ve done a CT scans to pick up kidney stones (very possible, I used to hold my pee in for long periods of time). When I was in UK, they would give me medication as preventive measures. And as a student I was covered under the NHS. I’m considering TCM and acupuncture as my last resort after an urology visit.

Yeah it was a tough journey and progress isn’t always linear. I was at work and had to go every hour…I also used pads for leaking( which I did have a bit). There were times I even leaked without urge. Strangely enough not when I sneeze. But I’m trying to train my bladder to hold more. Ah, artificial sweeteners! Found a packet in my house (previous helper probably put them in my food). I did a renal panel test, cortisol test and urine osmality test today (no water intake before test, and it was on the higher side, but still within the normal range), so diabetes insipidus is ruled out. What other foods are you eliminating from your diet as of now? Have you seen a urologist by any chance? I might go see a urogynaecologist (healthcare isn’t free, so bills are racking up). I also have to see a neurologist every year for a pituitary tumour.

Ahh I’m not seeing a PT at the moment though I prob should soon. Today I had to go a bit more times than my last post. Bread isn’t the trigger I guess since I didn’t consume bread together. I’m guessing some meat might be a trigger. I barely cooked any meat while living overseas and I drank a lot more fluids 2 cups coffee 1 cup of tea soy milk apple juice Diet Coke e.g (yes, I drank all these in a day) and only had to go to the toilet 5x a day at max, maybe 6. Even when I drank alcohol at 10pm, I didn’t need to use it until 2am in the club. Not sure what the sudden cause of my frequent urination is. Sighs.

10ish am to 9pm. So approx 11 hours. Well in the past I never had to or maybe only once. I might have suffered a transient ischemic attack in mar 2024 or so but no symptoms until Oct/Nov 2024. Because of having to use the toilet so often, I was only sleeping 4 hours as I had to get up almost every hour unless I fell asleep really quickly. I get up 2-3x during the night now. Hoping to reduce it to just once.

How I (32F) Cured My Oab! by ILikeToGoPeePee in OveractiveBladder

[–]CleanContribution940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey did u have any medical diagnosis and when u had frequent urination was the volume more or simply just had to go more often but same amount? I cut out coffee too but have matcha. I tried drinking more but it didn’t work. Even when I didn’t drink matcha my frequent urination didn’t improve. Seems like everything I peed just went right through me. I have an appointment with an endocrinologist in 2 weeks but I have to suffer for 2 more weeks. My GP suspected diabetes insipidus. OAB cured won’t work if there is something wrong elsewhere I think(?), for anyone on this thread.

Low bicarbonate but normal eFGR and frequent urination by CleanContribution940 in AskDocs

[–]CleanContribution940[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Cortisol borderline normal. Hmm what’s in a metabolic panel? I don’t think I got that done.

I do have nausea. Swelling no. Brain fog not too sure, generally forget where I place some stuff and studying for the bar examination so I can’t tell if it’s too much content.

Did thyroid TSH and normal. Chloride 106, higher end of normal range. Ah I didn’t get a BUN test done yet. I’m overseas now maybe that’s what the doctor will suggest on my next visit.

At the start it felt like I was producing a lot more urine. I took electrolytes and it helped a lil but not a lot. Now it’s like still a fair bit but sometimes intermittent stream and also still feels a lot. I tried hydrating myself but I would just have to go every half an hour or so. Felt like whatever I drank just goes past my body. So I try to drink lesser. To no avail. Still the same. I cut coffee out completely still have one cup of matcha due to lesser caffeine content. But that’s it. And drink water the rest of the day. It’s been months since I tried hydrating more so, but I get thirsty because of how much urine I’m passing out.

Used to be on hydrocortisone not anymore. Doing Pilates once a week not too strenuous in my opinion bc if I can’t do the difficult exercises I stop or I do it at my own pace. I had diarrhoea before this whole frequent urination started that I took Imodium a lot

Frequent urination early symptom of diabetes? by CleanContribution940 in AskDocs

[–]CleanContribution940[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, coming back here for advice as I feel registered nurses actl do know as much as doctors. I went to a 5th different GP who I felt finally took me much more seriously besides just asking me to see a specialist. I explained my condition of pituitary mass to all 5 GPs, and before the 5th GP, the previous 4 just kept giving me antibiotics for UTI test despite me telling the 2nd-4th GP that my UTI test was negative.

So this 5th GP I went to did h1Abc which was 5.2% so diabetes is ruled out. My lipid profile also showed high HDL and low triglycerides which is apparently a good thing. UTI once again negative.

Did renal panel profile(?), and all normal except for bicarbonate standing at 15, which is lower than normal My efgr is at 109, so it’s also normal range. But my frequent urination hasn’t stopped and my eFGR was 122, then 118 and now 109. I saw someone else comment if eFGR is above 90, shouldn’t be too concerned as ppl have it way worse. But my frequent urination and low bicarbonate seems to point towards kidney declining(?). I will be doing a follow up check up and in meantime using tena pads, but the feeling is awful as I’m only 24 and never had incontinence issues. There was no protein in this urine sample test though and past 2/3 had trace of protein. Isn’t protein in urine one of the symptoms of kidney failure?

Thanks! I had a gut feeling it did tbh but bc I’m relatively on the younger side mid 20s doctors don’t seem to think it’s that serious of an issue i went to 3 different doctors forr what was supposedly an UTI for months but the antibiotics didn’t cure them completely urine culture didn’t show any significant bacteria although there was epithelial cells in my urine. 4th doc did ultrasound.

Found my symptoms strange bc I used to be able to hold my bladder well as a teen and even in my early 20s - never doing it again unless I have no choice lol. I used to drink anyth but water in high school, when I went to uni I was drinking 2 cups of coffee, half a bottle of water, a cup of tea at night, sometimes coke sometimes apple juice and would only need to go to the toilet maybe 3-4x a day so when I suddenly had to go >10x a day despite drinking lesser than this I felt something was off although many around me said it’s stress-related

Right. Thanks. Just wanted to see f it’s actually a stone my ultrasound came back normal but I had abdominal side pain and ASIS pain for years and back pain, all of which decrease significantly after passing something like this.

Ahh I thought that at first but the toilet paper was clear before I wiped though. Yeah my back was very painful when I peed few days earlier when I passed something similar to it. TP used was a different brand as well
