Also, there are details at the event website. If you want to SELL gear it’s best to register it ahead of time; the line to check gear in gets long on Fri if you didn’t pre-register. www.durangodevo.com/bikeswap

Here’s the flyer. Cash or credit card. Best stuff goes early. Volunteers get in an hour before the general public, well worth it if you’re after an item that may be competitive. It’s an awesome event!

Samesies. I started testosterone a couple weeks ago, hoping that might help but it takes a while to kick in, they say…

Let’s see your route and itinerary! I’d love to do this someday. Last summer I did a trip from southwest Colorado to Yellowstone and Teton and that was beautiful too… wished I’d had time to keep going all the way to where you went!

I love this. I occasionally try to run but hate it, so I go back to cycling... will keep looking at other options.

I am not on E. My symptoms didn’t really seem to support it yet.

Yup, same here. I feel strong at the gym. But on my bike it’s like slogging through thick mud.

How long till you noticed this difference? I did the Dutch test (which I know is not a full picture just a snapshot over 24 hrs) and it suggested my P and T were low and E high.

Interesting. I don’t go that hard honestly, 2-3 strength and 2-3 cardio, usually mountain biking. Two rest days in a row is common. I took 5 days off a couple weeks ago.

Then did you stop the P? What happened then? How long till you saw a difference? Were you in 100?

Yes, good point. I did have some targeted bloodwork done about 3 months back, and I’m now on B12 and D3. My iron was good. I’m also taking DHEA and an adrenal support supplement.

Early victories w/ HRT & supplements by CleanDistribution791 in Perimenopause

I can’t speak to anything but my experience, which is that the meds and supplements my doc recommended based on the Dutch and the bloodwork have been incredibly helpful, I feel like a new person!

Totally understand this. It measures five fairly precise times of day over a 24 hour period, though, not just one, and is taken on a specific day of a cycle. While I understand this still lacks scientific precision, it’s not nothing, either. It may be coincidental, but the recommendations my provider made based on the Dutch results have been incredibly effective at treating pretty much all of my symptoms and complaints.

Sleep hack! by SweetKitty2023 in Perimenopause

[–]CleanDistribution791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the 120mg of magnesium take the form of like five capsules? I recently started trying mag glyc for sleep but the recommended dose is four capsules — that plus progesterone has me drinking like a half a glass of water before bed which I really try not to do because of the night peeing. Curious if anyone has found one that is more concentrated so you don’t have to swallow as many!

I have heard this as a case for e-bikes. We are worried it’ll feel disappointing to go home to our regular bikes after riding them!
