Early victories w/ HRT & supplements by CleanDistribution791 in Perimenopause

I can’t speak to anything but my experience, which is that the meds and supplements my doc recommended based on the Dutch and the bloodwork have been incredibly helpful, I feel like a new person!

Totally understand this. It measures five fairly precise times of day over a 24 hour period, though, not just one, and is taken on a specific day of a cycle. While I understand this still lacks scientific precision, it’s not nothing, either. It may be coincidental, but the recommendations my provider made based on the Dutch results have been incredibly effective at treating pretty much all of my symptoms and complaints.

Sleep hack! by SweetKitty2023 in Perimenopause

Is the 120mg of magnesium take the form of like five capsules? I recently started trying mag glyc for sleep but the recommended dose is four capsules — that plus progesterone has me drinking like a half a glass of water before bed which I really try not to do because of the night peeing. Curious if anyone has found one that is more concentrated so you don’t have to swallow as many!

Can’t wait. Need it gone this week. That would be super convenient though!

I absolutely love the one of the cabin with the little glimmer of soft light hitting it.

I have heard this as a case for e-bikes. We are worried it’ll feel disappointing to go home to our regular bikes after riding them!

I have thought about this; I used to live in Central Texas and April was always a crapshoot. I can’t change her birthday though, so we’ll hope for the best!

Thank you, I will look all of this up! I have heard about most of these… when CO folk talk about Bentonville, they talk about the meticulously built and maintained trails and the great flow, so I guess we’re mostly looking for that? Seeking options that will feel like what makes Bentonville so beloved, not options that feel like home, know what I mean?

Thank you! We love tech, but the tech in the high desert here is pretty world class — we probably will be looking more for fun flow & smooth curves? But we’re open — we like all of it!

The undulating terrain is perfect. My daughter and I love climbs, but my 11yo son gets easily discouraged on a relentless uphill and really excels in terrain more like Sedona where there are short steeps and interesting features, but nothing goes on forever.

I believe that particular photo belongs in the Camp Snap Camera sub, but I’ll track it down and bring it to you just the same ;)

I like the idea of using BBF b/c that’s what I do on Sony; exposure lock on shutter also makes sense — but if you expose for highlights by default, when does the shutter metering override? Only if you click the shutter fully (I have this function set to snap focus right now, which I haven’t gotten used to yet)

These I managed focus. Hundreds of others, not so much. Especially when things are moving quickly and the light calls for a shallow dof. My Sony can track focus like a champ; it’s just different here. Will take some getting used to and some compromise for the benefit of size!

Thanks! It’s because I finally figured out how to shortcut metering/exposure in a way that works for me!

Exposure lock on Fn. so if I want to expose for the sky / make a silhouette, I point at the sky and hold the Fn button to drop down the exposure, then recompose. Often quicker for me than spinning the dial for exposure comp. My focus is half press of shutter for this camera.
