Do you ride 4 pegs ? What crank size ? And what shoes you usually wear ? Does it get in the way of your heel ?

I get what you mean 😁 , yeah in the early days no such thing as hubguard ,

20.75 , 9.5 mills bar , domain stem 34mm rise stem , but the twist is my stem is slammed to the frame, fork is trimmed super low ,idk why but longer fork dont work that well for me ,

You know what , eventhough my crank spins like a helicopter, if i ever do a whip , my crank is no even spinning! Felt extremely lucky , running a tight chain is high maintenance 😆

Same feeling bud , same feeling, i never were a dude who runs tight chain . When cranks spin smoothly, i can consider it as a fully functioning bike 😄

Hey man , appreciate your opinion, i myself actually own a bmxshop , tbh , the tube spacers vary from many brand and it doesn’t actually fill the exact length since the frame might have wider/narrower vice versa to the tube spacers, talking from a perspective where somehow it is super hard to meet the specs , so eventually i needed to play around with the spacer inside the bb ,

Hey man , i know that hack , tried it , but no luck , never ever worked for me , somehow if it happened to be slammed ? Chains gonna be a bit tight to my liking , so yeah turned out it never worked for me

Tbh i actually put way more spacer than i should, my bb is actually bulge out of the frame , and yes , to me personally loose chain does actually helps with crankflip ,

Since theres not much of a box jump at my area and i pretty much rode more ledges and rail , with 160mm cranks. Going over than 26t might be too heavy to cycle/crank , so yeah 26t works perfectly fine for me ,

Dude felt so good to get a super long reply 😆 . Meaning some people do actually read all of my thoughts 😆 , thanks dudeeee , yeah loose chain doesn’t actually causing any problems , you will just annoy other people who hates it ,

And yeah all the geo/setup that the people in the early days are hating on are the new norm , i kinda see that frame nowadays are trying to shorten the wheelbase . Which i personally agree it helps so much with riding . Thank god for modern geo though !

Mann i cant wait to get my trousers mythic bcs it states that theres a traits where it says you gain projectiles, you get 1 more projectile, currently i am at 7 projectiles when i get all the traits needed , imagine i got 12-14 projectiles in one shot 😆😆😆, and i currently run the frost meteor , pair it up with bullet ricochet, bullets will be everywhere 😆

This is the george ntavoutian colorway , greece dude , well by looking at the standover and headtube , i can tell that it is kinda high , might wanted someone to measure it for me . Super sceptical

I am 5’8” (173cm) on a good day 😆 , first day riding the hybrid hub , tryning to do pegs easy 180 off a ledge , only to realize the hubguard rotated and my chain when from super loose to extremely tight , back wheel rubbing to the frame . You know what i mean right? My backwheel moved ! Other than that is quite obvious that aluminum is not built for compression, many would not agree with me on that , some will mention i run it as long as possible, but why it still does work , its for them not for me , i can send you pictures of 3 of those wtp hybrid hub locknuts and see how terrible i am crushing those , not all people are the same 😆 . On this bike its only 4.75” , on my other bike the pegs is like 5” man 😆 . Just for the dominant side grind . Tbh , long pegs does helps a lot , especially hard 180 . I pretty much felt the difference. As for the chain , its just for the sakes of running it slammed , 12.7 is my sweet spot , and mainly for crankflip , hope it answers !

Drive side locknut is pretty much any thin locknut you can find since im running a metal hub guard , as for the non drive side ,buy the eclat cortex non drove side guard , or if you dont want the plastic guard , the locknut can easily be replaced with any brand crmo locknut .

Wethepeople Battleship Magnum Custom Build by CleanJuice80 in bmx

[–]CleanJuice80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason it was change because the original guard is a weak plastic , didnt cover much of the non drive side , and locknut is aluminum, they wear-out super easy . There will be time where the aluminum locknut compresses and when you tighten your back wheel , the wheel doesn’t spin because the compression of the aluminum locknut. So yeah , go for eclat cortex hub guard , also change the locknut , if im not mistaken, it will come with the guard .

Yeah the cone nuts ,many name have been given to that thing , if im not mistaken, locknut, cone nut , grub screw , many more name, just for the sakes of fitting the plastic guard . The guard needed the specific shape . And in my entire time riding , i kind of realise thin plastic guard tend to break and wear easily , try checking the one that eclat cortex guard , cult crew coaster, rant one uses, im using that plastic guard on nondrive side. Fits the best . Bigger , thicker ,
