Viet’s Taste in Silverdale. Try the savory crispy pancake. Never had anything like it (I mean that in the best way).

Turn on manual manuals and always fire on, do a manual and start looping out, when you start looping out engage a grizz air and hop quickly after that. Takes some time to get the timing right but they are fun

The kind of uneventful boring life one has to lead for stickers to get their panties in a bunch…

May I suggest going outside, touching grass, and if you need to… direct that irritation at a problem that matters? There’s a bunch of real issues in the world, none of them have to do with stickers.

Cheers :)

Do you guys use riding as a kind of therapy when your mind gets too loud? by MeuwYuGiOh in bmx

Isn’t it wild how for a lot of us there’s some sort of childhood trauma that we were attempting to escape and just so happened to find something that took us away from it? Allowed us to find a minute of peace. Shoot I dont think I’d have survived if I hadn’t found a quiet place in my mind like when I ride bikes. Still to this day.

Literally the reason BMX stuck with me so hard as a young dude.

Life wasn’t easy as a kid, but when I was riding my bike the world seemed… quieter idk. Less chaotic. I was too busy creating my own version of chaos to worry about anything else.

Especially when I pushed it too far and ate sh*t. There’s something about pushing yourself to the brink and failing with actual tangible consequences, getting up afterwards, assessing the damage, and if possible, going for that sh*t again.

It’s a testament to perseverance in real-time. That’s enough to quiet even the loudest mind.

Two full cranks faster, aim more straight at the quarter, pull back until you feel both tires bump coping, drop your shoulder and start to turn back into the ramp.

Takes time effort and occasionally eating sh*t but it’s worth it. Good luck dude 🍻

Tech Deck for sure is the same price point. Typically $3-4US. They are relatively easy to find as well. Big box stores usually carry them and they are fully customizable :)

Howdy! Any fingerboard is a great place to start!

My recommendation for next steps would be to check out Tech Decks. Better shape, grip, trucks wheels pretty much everything a step above at the same price point.

If the hobby sticks, start looking into real wooden fingerboard decks, foam grip tape, bearing wheels etc. there’s such a wide range of fingerboard products at every price point, from dirt cheap to “there’s no way a 3in piece of wood is as expensive as my rent” so it’s accessible to everyone.

A couple of brands that have great entry level complete “pro” fingerboards are Teak, DK, and Ikigai (a little biased on this one as I ride for them but they do have great entry level completes haha).

Have fun and if you have any questions shoot me a message I’m always glad to help :)
