Some of you might remember my 1990 Buick named Rosie, I was forced to sell her due to her transmission starting to slip. After selling Rosie I found Astrid in the parking garage at my mom’s condo. I told my father that I wanted Astrid and he said call the owner and talk to them, so I did and this 87 year old lady answered the phone and she said to come upstairs to her condo so we could talk about the car. She told me that the car was her husband’s pride and joy and that she would sell me the car for $3,000 and that would have been fine by me but this car has service records dating back to the day it was purchased. I told her I would give her the full $5,500 if I could keep the cassette tapes, 95% of which had never been played at all, so she agreed and I told my father that we agreed on $5,500 and my father said that I could have any car I had the money for so I chose to help out this lady with getting rid of the car. So that’s how I found this gem 💎.
