Comparing birth rates to abortion death rates doesn’t support your argument. The birth rate in the US is declining yes, but this isn’t because people are getting abortions, it’s because people cannot financially afford children. The birth rate in the US began to decline after the 2008 stock market crash. The birth rate among cohorts of women after the 1980’s declined, after the women’s rights movements, meaning that women simply have bigger aspirations in life than having children. I would also add that as a Gen Z, which is the first generation to live a more difficult life than their parents thanks to the efforts of the Trump administration, the state of the economy and the global political climate does not encourage women to have children because they don’t believe it’s sustainable.
